It's been awhile since I last sent out one of these and I do apologize for that. However I have a whole lot of news in this newsletter to make up for the months of silence :-)

 

NEW CD "CAPARISON"

 

I have just released a new CD, entitled "CAPARISON". The tracks are my arrangements of mostly standard Classical Guitar repertoire played on 10 strings, although there are some lesser heard works as well. A caparison is a cloth used to adorn warhorses, in reference to some of the pieces on the CD. :-)

PHILIPPINE CONCERT TOUR IN AUGUST

 

I will be in the Philippines in the early part of August and will be doing a series of concerts, including a performance of Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez" with the FilFest Festival Orchestra. Here are the dates:

SOCAL SUMMER GUITAR RECITAL JULY 24, 2009

 

Prior to my trip, I will be performing at the Neighborhood Music School on July, 24 2009 6:00 PM  25 S. 1st Avenue, Arcadia, California 91006.

A few of my students will open the evening performing their hard earned pieces and I will cap the night off with some music off my latest CD "CAPARISON". General admission is $10.
