They actually played a few songs more than that. They played Your Russia during the encore and maybe another one. Also Down in Yon Forrest was sung as the intro to Speaking Hands. The gig was on the whole very powerful and very intense (not that that's something unexpected for a WH gig). It was the first time I saw the band since Pascal started playing with DEE as part of WH and the difference in dynamic was clearly on display. Whereas the previous WH gigs i'd seen were predominantly acoustic (with David using the mandolin and acoustic guitar extensively) this one was very electric (and electrifying!) and it was much closer to 16HP. The crowd in Cologne was perfect. Very diverse, very appreciative and very polite. The venue was also just right, the acoustics were great and the bar was good. All in all, an awesome gig and well worth traveling for. It had also been over a year since I'd last seen DEE play live and I realise I can't ever let it be this long again.

I am going to be in Koln for the Woven Hand gig on the 16th August. I am going with some friends and I would really like to book my tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

What I really want is some help to find a website for tickets which would also allow for a venue pickup option, so help from German members of the group would be hugely appreciated. Also, though I understand a little German, it would be better if the website had an english language option, but I'll manage in German if I have to so that's not much of an issue.

this satanic stuff I leave to rich dumb white kids bored with their life. But if
you look at it with onely music in mind it's true that DEE's use of traditonal
mode is often found in metal band (satanic or not, Cofee black, death, Speed,
Grind  from the grave.. whatever... )
Hence the fact that his music would easily fit in the set list of a metal band
as opposed to let say Radiohead's music.

Haha, Kulturbolaget is the venue and it is situated in Malmoe, Sweden. What you found is probably what was broadcasted on swedish radio from the Woven Hand show on 2nd May 2002.

fact that they, Marduk, saw Satan as the true God, not just as a

Satanist and Anti-Christian. I am very surprised to hear they would
even listen to DEE, let alone do a cover.
I am very curious to hear it, if it's true. I agree that much of DEE's
work fits in with the Metal sound. As a matter of fact, DEE has pretty
much supplanted any of my Metal listening.
