Soundsfamilyre must have terribly underestimated the demand for these
shirts or Woven Hand has become very popular all of the sudden...hope

what a nice surprise to read that name again: NEW MODEL ARMY.  in the early
nineties I was a big fan of them.  I bought their 12 first records and saw a
few gigs of them,  but in the past years I did not follow that group
anymore.  although they were great and very special!

Some of you may have seen the Spring 2004 Soundsfamilyre Scandinavian
tour with David, Br Danielson and Sufjan Stevens.  Emil Nikolaisen,
from the Norwegian band Silver, backed them up on various instruments.
  He also has another band, Serena Maneesh, that has recently released
their self-titled, full-length debut.  If you are into
shoegazing/noise-pop (jesus & mary chain, lush, my bloody valentine,

the Vlaamse Opera) in the frame of the Festival of Flanders. The
performances on the 27th and 28th will be followed by a unique Woven
Hand concert, during which David (with Ordy Garrison and Peter Van
Laerhoven) will be performing a selection of the music David has
written for the Ultima Vez performances.
