One of the many highlights of a fabulous weekend ahead. Don't miss it!

Please find attached the poster advertising our concert which will follow this year's TMSA AGM on November 8th at the College of Piping in Otago St (NOT the Piping Centre) The AGM will start at 2.00pm and all members will have free entry (and a free glass of wine) for the concert afterwards. For non-members, the concert will be only £8 but anyone joining on the day will also get free entry to the concert and session later.
I hope as many as possible from the branch can make it to the AGM and stay around for what will be a cracking concert and late session afterwards.
Apologies all, it has been pointed out to me that the AGM will start at 2pm. The mistake was entirely mine. Sorry if it has caused any confusion with the official notice on the website and newsletter.
Everyone in Campbeltown, Argyll & Ballycastle, Co Antrim are praying that the
Ferry
between these two towns will start up again soon.
However, one of the conditions put forward by the DUP, over here in Antrim, was
that
there would be an additional link with this Ferry, to Troon.
Given that this may well come about, I thought it might be a good idea to start
making
contact with musical folks over there in your area, with a view to setting up
some
interesting & worthwhile musical connections.
With this in mind, here are some websites you might like to check out:
North Antrim Culture & Heritage Forum:
http://northantrim.proboards84.com/index.cgi
Kintyre Forum:
http://www.kintyreforum.com/
If you are a musician or singer & have your own MySpace, then please check out
my own:
Dalriada MySpace:
http://www.myspace.com/northantrim
You should also check out this excellent Campbeltown based group, whose members
are
also very keen to establish musical connections with both areas:
The Wild Sarachs:
http://www.myspace.com/140987339
I would especially like to hear from any Musicians & Singers in your area, who
are
interested in pursuing musical links with a view to setting up a three way
liaison for
possible joint musical projects in the future.
If you happen to know anyone who might be interested, please pass on these
details.
Cheers
Ptarmigan
Thanks Graham,
I'd certainly appreciate it, if you would pass on the link to my posts here &
the photos, to
Phyllis.
It'd be good to keep in touch & hopefully catch them again, the next time
they're over here.
Cheers

I'm a new member here & I've just posted a few Photos. The first one includes four excellent Scottish Singers who joined us, here on the North Coast of Antrim, at a few of our sessions last weekend.
Do you know them?
If so, please thanks them for all their great singing & company & ask them to send me an E- mail in good time before they come back, next time.
Hey, thanks for the reply A & especially for putting names to those faces.
Of course, we were all introduced, but I'm absolutely hopeless with folks names, so bad in fact that I have my own name stitched onto all my shirts, just to remind me who I am! :-)
We're hoping they'll come back over & we're even thinking about a trip to Girvan ourselves, maybe next year.
Looking forward to seeing you there but hopefully before then.
As I said I will be at Rostrevor 24 to 28 and may travel about during the day.
