Okay... "Meaningless Conversation" is still my favorite (I have a soft
spot for songs that tell a story), but I just have to mention the song
"Coma". Listening to it was quite the experience.
It starts off with random sounds and just when you begin to think that
they aren't random at all... the music grows out of them. Then Spencer's
voice comes in, floating on top of the music. It almost as if the voice is
disconnected from the underlying music... following it but floating
separate from it. Then the background singers come in, connect the two and
make the song whole. The song then leads you around and changes, and
comes back. Quite the trip!
This isn't a song... it's a movie! It's so complex that you want to go
back a listen to it over and over. Okay, for those who are counting... I
have three favorites from the album, "Meaningless Conversation", "Coma"
and "Complicated".
So Far <g>. Gonna be listening to it for a while.

P.S. I'd like to shoot a video for "Meaningless Conversation". That's the
frustrated Director in me coming out of the closet <g>.
