Good one John. Looks like a decent gig allround, some of the workshops at least look practical. Hope you and anyone else on the list who's going has a good time, and mabey let us know how it went afterwards. What's New Orleans beer meant to be like?

naw, really, here's the scoop

I think it'll be great. They're building a studio at the conference
site and then Steve Wynn & the Miracle 3 are going to record in it.
Then several different producers (including Mitch Easter, if I'm not
mistaken...) are going to mix the results. That's in addition to
workshops on many aspects of recording, from use of compressors, to
mic'ing drums to recording vocals. All with the home recording slant
that Tape Op Mag is known for. Plus panel discussions with producers
from across America. Then live music at night.

I'll tip a beer for you.
