I've joined a group called the Hip-hop Civic Engagement Project, and
am helping people get registered or re-registered to vote.

If you're interested in helping register other people to vote, I
will contribute $15 to the Aaliyah Memorial Fund for every 10 people
that you help register. Or, if you have another charity you'd like
to contribute to in memory of Aaliyah, I'll direct the contribution
to whatever charity you choose.

I'll give you all the info you need on how to help other people
register. Send me an email at artm96-email@... if you want to
help, or even if you just want info on how to register yourself.

Even if you've never voted before, or never wanted to, you should
vote in this November's election. We need to send a strong message
to all the politicians out there that we will speak out and defend
our rights.
