I attended it, and it was quite good, though the acoustic of Katarina has a too long echo which is not ideal for baroque music. Miah Persson was lovely as always, in two arias and one piece shared with Malena Ernman, who was excellent, giving the repeats in the da capo arias ice variations. Tenor Carl Unander-Scharrin is ideal for Messiah and bass Petri Lindroos was quite good, as was the combined choir.
There is free seating and when I arrived about 15 minutes before the doors opened there was already a very long queue. Before the doors opened there was so much people that the queue grow into two parts. As part of the queue behind me was actually nearer to the church than I was I was a little worried, but people behaved very disciplined. I have visited the church several times before and realized that I should go to one of the side sections. To my surprise there was only two people yet in the first row so I could get an excellent seat.
