Hi, this is Amy Malkoff, the new Editor-In-Chief of the
soon-to-be-launched brand new CASA online (
http://www.casa.org).
This site will replace the CAN (Contemporary A Cappella Newsletter).
The new online publication promises to be a comprehensive resource
for all things a cappella! The site will include: forums (bulletin
boards) that we hope will become a place for vibrant, ongoing
discussions; massive concert calendar; classifieds; articles; ads;
video...
As we speak, the new site is being designed and programmed, and
should be launched soon.
We're currently seeking a staff of volunteer writers, editors and
photographers to be involved in the new CASA site. We're looking for
people who are available to write concert reviews, recording
reviews, news of note, award announcements, etc. We are looking for
people both domestically and worldwide. Let the world what's
happening in your area! The goal is to have a sizable staff
available so that noone feels like the job is overwhelming, or a
burden. It should, after all, be fun!
If you are a writer, editor or photographer, please contact me with
your area/s of interest, your experience, the geographic area/s that
you would like to cover, and any other information your may deem
pertinent.
I look forward to hearing from you, and to joining you in making the
new CASA online an exciting, a cappella community-oriented and
community-supported publication!
