Blue Jupiter, a touring pop-rock a cappella group in NYC, is seeking performers. Diana Preisler, mgr.; Marty Gasper, vocal percussion; Chris Chatham, high tenor. The group tours year round.
Seeking—
Male Tenor: this position is not about high notes, it’s about skills, personality, and soul;
Male Bass Vocalist: range ideally extends below a low D, but smaller ranges will be considered, must understand the role of the bass singer in contemporary a cappella.
Auditions will be held Mar. 6, 1-4 p.m. Mar. 7, 7:30-9:30 p.m., & Mar 14, 7:30-9:30 p.m. at The Singers Forum Forum 49 West 24th Str.
Download auditions materials at www.bluejupiter.com/auditions. Prepare two pop solos performed acappella. Will be asked to improv melodies and bass lines.
