Just in case anyone has encountered this variety before -

Appearantly, the unit has suffered a voltage spike, blowing the fuse on
the "pulse Sheet Assembly" card. After changing critical tantalyts,
I've tested each - and every - card in another, working unit, and they
all come out sounding as they should. Still, when put back in the
patient, no sound comes out.

All pots, sliders and knobs tests out ok, and the wiring seem to run
where it should. I also get correct reads from the PS.

What is going on here?
