This is a group dedicated to the project
of compiling a list of live performances
by master saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist
/composer/restructuralist Anthony Braxton.

We got started in September 2005. Since then,
Mike Fitzgerald has already pulled together a
starter gigography for the group Circle
posted at http://www.jazzdiscography.com. We are
close to posting the first chapter on Mr. Braxton,
covering the period from 1962-69.

With participants in the US and Europe, we are
working on several sub-projects, including
inputting information from the 1982 Hans Wachtmeister
discography, compiling a master list of several
hundred private and unreleased recordings, and
inputting recent concerts. We plan on using the
"Brian" software available at
www.jazzdiscography.com.
