Subject: [Arkenstone] Myths and Legends Disc Mix
Fascinating concept there on playing two discs simultaneously. As I
understand it, part of the "magic" comes from sometimes not getting
the
synchronicity exactly perfect, and from not having the same volume setting
on both. Nonetheless, since my car only has one CD player, I decided to
rip the two discs and use Goldwave32 to mix the tracks, then make an MP3
disc with all three versions. Maybe I'll try shifting the ambient track
one way or the other to see how it changes things. So far I've only mixed
the first track because it's my bedtime and I have to get up early. But I
do like it. That first track, in certain spots, reminds me some of Jonn
Serrie.
::time passes::
After playing around with some more of them, I think I might like to go
back and try another "mix version" with the ambient sounds at full
volume
and the regular music at maybe 60% volume or something. Wild. I'll
probably have like 15 different versions of this before the end of the
week.
