Awesome work Paul and Asmo crew. I can't express how often I listen to Wolf
Age. I truly enjoy your work and am proud to be apart of one of Asmo's vids.
Much luck and success to the entire Asmo team and to your future projects.
Perhaps we can do a Morningstar release party at HaVoK, I'd love to see the
final production of the video on screens and cranked in clubs.
Take care,
- Naika

Subject: [Asmodeian] Morningstar Rising
Greetings,
We apologize for having taken so long to send any updates but we've been
hard at work putting finishing touches on the final mix for the Morningstar
album. We believe we've just about hit the mark though, and expect to enter
the mastering phase within the next week or so. At this moment I can say
without a doubt that Morningstar has taken us aeons beyond the flag that was
planted by Wolf Age, and hope you'll be as pleased with the final product as
we are. We owe a big thanks to TG and Latex Records not only for their
support, but for lending a lot of fire to the effort as well. Latex has
announced the official release date of April 30th, so we won't have too long
to wait.
As some of you might have noticed, the release date of April 30th coincides
with Walpurgisnacht - the most 'fiery' of the pagan holidays. Work on
Morningstar has crystallized so many connections with other Denizens of the
Dark that we feel this is quite appropriate. Finding valuable connections
with other 'Seekers of the Grail' is the true reward in this kind - or for
that matter, any kind - of work. Sure, the limousines, groupies, and
press-conferences are all fine, but in the end it is the strong connections
that you make with other high-voltage individuals that will take you
somewhere new.
Shooting on the video for Voices of the Fallen with New York multi-media
artist Amy Coster was completed last week. Working with Amy was a wonderful
experience, as she had seen enough into the content of the song to write an
actual story line congruent our original vision. Our gratitude extends
deeply to her, and everyone else who put so much work into making this
project happen - especially Jezriel, Mr. 313, Fury, and Brooke. Also a big
round of thanks goes out to everyone who showed up for the 'bridge sequence'
in Eleanor Tinsley Park - Skot, Bear, Shelly, Brandon, Kat, Naika, Russel,
Jerico, Jason, Karen and everyone else I might be forgetting. You must all
know that you have helped create a strong impression for what Morningstar is
becoming, and our destinies are all now intertwined (if they weren't
already ). The last day of shooting found us out by an old abandoned house
in the middle of nowhere near Rosharon, where the brief appearance of a
ghostly apparition in the window was
caught on tape, and will hopefully appear in the final product. The video
is now off to New York for editing, and if everything goes as planned, it
will be included as a bonus media file with the release of Morningstar.
As many of you know, we were recording a cover version of Psychic TV's hit
single 'Roman P', but due to copyright concerns were unsure if it would be
able to make the cut for Morningstar. We are now happy to announce that
Genesis P-Orridge himself has personally given us permission to release the
track with his blessings. He has also informed us that coincidentally, PTV
has not only recently reformed, but is also doing Roman P again, and will be
touring the U.S. this year. Keep yr eyes on his website to learn more about
I.T.:

And finally our thanks go to Chris Lane (Bozo Porno Circus) for laying
guitar tracks on the song L.O.D. This has given the track just the edge it
needed for that 'open-the-door-of-Hell' feeling.
And finally, regarding our studio: There has apparently been some confusion
lately over whether it's proper name is 'Protocol 2', or 'Fjardesson'. Let
it henceforth be known that at any ordinary moment, it is officially
Protocol 2. However, at those moments when Asmodeus X directs attention
toward the act of creation, it is momentarily transformed into Fjardesson.
Swedish for 'Fourth Son', Fjardesson exists more as a state of mind than a
location. Like Albuquerque, or Genesis' Nursery, Fjardesson appears when
needed, as a void from whence true creation might emerge. Morningstar is
without a doubt a Fjardesson product, as was Wolf Age before it.
When you are ready, we'll see you in Fjardesson,
PF
