Re: OKRA?

Agreed, TOY or not, Superlove is a must. Remember that TOY's tracks
are remastered... NOT the original mix, which can be good and/or bad,
depending on your point of view.

I was at ShakeIt Records on February 11 for the Autumn Defense in-
store, and talked to Darren there. TOY is now pending, get this,
video editing. Yup, there will be a DVD attached to this package.
It just keeps growing... first it was gonna be a one-disk compilation
remastered from the first tow albums, then that stretched into two
disks, then there was art and photo work delays, then a wait for
liner notes, and now this. Best calc I can make is that this project
is about a year and a half overdue from the first release estimate
(which was roughly Christmas, 2003 i think). I talked to Chuck a
while back and he leaked nothing of what and where the video portions
entail.

Chuck and Darren both indicate that efforts are underway to gain full
rights to the A&M and Checkered Past releases and will most likely go
out on the ShakeIt label. There's been talk of a live recording
release for about three years now, but I know of no movement toward
that end as of yet. Last time I talked to Chuck he indicated that AP
are planning to work in rehearsal, firming up a song a session, then
laying it down for mixing and mastering at Dave's home studio. Once
they have an album's worth ready, they'll pitch it to the industry
for release.

So boys and girls, AP are still vital, creative, and growing. This
is a long ride and a good one.
