This September we are happy to present our 8th Annual MALIDOMA! World Drum &
Dance Camp, on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene in Idaho. The longest running camp
of its kind in the Northwest, MALIDOMA! is open to everyone, regardless of
experience or training. Beginning dancers & drummers are welcome and encouraged
to join with long-time attendees and first-time friends as we create an inviting
atmosphere of fun, play, and learning in the spirit of the dance and drum. In
addition to enjoying the beautiful outdoor setting and community atmosphere, you
will have the opportunity to learn excellent technique in American Tribal Style
Bellydance and traditional West African dance, as well as Afro-Cuban, Brazilian
and West African drumming with some of the finest and most respected instructors
available in the U. S. All of the classes are evenly structured and
experiential, covering beginning through more advanced techniques, offering you
the opportunity to learn at your own pace and level of ability. This is a fully
participatory, hands-on event.



- THE DETAILS -



The camp begins with check-in between 4:00 - 6:00PM on Friday, September 17th,
and runs through 2:30PM on Sunday, September 19th. The minimum age required to
attend the camp is 16, and an adult must accompany all persons under the age of
18. Space for this popular event is limited! All you need do to reserve your
space is send a deposit (non-refundable) and completed registration form for
each person attending by Friday, September 10th. The balance of your tuition
must be paid in full upon check-in at the camp. Upon receipt of your
registration a letter of confirmation and map to the camp will be mailed to you.
Please bring your own drum for drumming classes. For those in need, a limited
number of drums will be available to rent at $15.00 for the weekend. Please let
us know well in advance if you need to rent a drum. Absolute deadline for all
registration is Friday, September 10th. Late registrations will be accepted only
on a space available basis and must be confirmed by calling in advance. Please
