African Drum Arts anounces the 1st Annual World Hand Drumming Workshop
featuring rhythms from West Africa. The workshop focus will be an
introduction to technique, drum tuning, and African rhythms. The
workshop will be led by Dan Schaufele, who currently resides in the
Boulder Colorado area, and who studies with Abdoul Doumbia, a master
drummer from Mali. The workshop will include drum tuning, two drum
classes, and a video screening. Four options are available for the
event, though you can come for the full day for only $30! Quality
drums and African goods will be available for sale during the event.
