Welcome to BANJOCOM!
This list is for buying, selling, auction alerts, anything commercial related to banjos and related stringed instruments, accessories, and supplies. My intent here is to work in collaboration with other lists, particularly BANJO-L (see: http://akamail.com/banjo).

The list is open to all who are interested including manufacturers, dealers, individuals at whatever skill or involvement with banjos of any type, 4-string, 5-string, classic, tenor, plectrum, minstrel, collectables of all kinds, whatever. Since banjo players also play other instruments as well, others are welcome but please, no electrics, there are better places to go for those.

Posting is unmoderated BUT in the interest of a happy community, we have some guidelines:
1. No flames, ever. Do it off list if you must but not here.
2. No attachments. Be prepared to send photos, whatever, to those who request them but broadcasting attachments just causes problems.
3. All posts are copyright to the author. If you want to copy or quote a post, ask the poster's permission.
4. One item per post. Buy or sell, put whatever it is in the SUBJECT line. For example:
"SELL: 12 inch TubbyPhone 5 string, custom neck"
"WANT: MasterTone TB-1 cheap"
5. NO ADVTS OR REDIRECTS FOR UNRELATED MERCHANDISE OR WEB SITES.
6. Full disclosure in the signature line is encouraged but please stick to text only.
7. Short is sweeter than long. Most people will not read beyone one screen fill anyway.
8. Email identities, signatures, or other postings that carry off topic messages are
discouraged.
