• Well, you know what they say, all good things must come to an end. I have two final bookings with "Book'em Dan-O" one in Grove at Waterdogz this Saturday January 29th and one at Hoop's in late Feb. It's been a good run, Just over 5 years! 
• I know some of you are wondering what happened and why, so let me explain as best I can. It's probably a little more complex than this but, for whatever reason, I don't feel like we have progressed enough in the past 5 years and I have kinda gotten burned out. At first, my plan was to book only once or twice a month. I figured if we backed off on the bookings we could all come into the next gig refreshed and ready to play again but, understandably the rest of the guy's didn't want to back off so they talked about getting another drummer to fill in some gigs for me. Later we realized it wouldn't be fair to the new drummer to only use him when I wasn't available so we decided it would be better if I just left the band so they could have someone join the band permanently. There are no hard feelings, we are splitting on good terms, hell these guy's are my bros, we grew up together. We will always be family.

 

• Good News! Book'em Dan-O Has a new drummer and will be booking soon! Brandon Wilson will be joining the B.E.D.O. family! Some of you may have caught him filling in for me a couple weeks ago in Caney when I hurt my back. I heard he did a great job considering he had very little or no practice! He has been a friend of ours for many years, Brandon is a great guy and a great musician so please welcome him with open ears! Welcome to the family Bran-dawg!

Directions to Waterdogz/Grove,Ok from Hwy 75 Bartlesville; Take Hwy 60 East 63.5 miles all the way through Nowata, Vinita and Afton to Hwy 59(Buffalo Ranch Citgo station). Go south  7.7 miles to 250 rd(Tomcat Corner Citgo station). Turn Left (East) go 1.3 miles and you are there! It's on your right but, it's kind of hard to see, when the road curves to the left just go straight instead.
