Wow, What a weekend! I Have had an absolute blast! Went to Bell's Amusement park Saturday with my kids and rode almost all the rides. After that my kids went home and I went across the street to the Ritz Cabaret for my friend Randy's bachelor party (Boobies & Beer, WooHoo!) after we "milked" that for all it was worth we went to Night Trips for a minute but, it was way too crowded so we headed over to The Elephant Run to hang with my friend Mark and his band Imzadi.  http://www.imzadirocks.com/ We had a great time and finished the night out there.
 
       Woke up Sunday, started surfing the net and realized that The Hairy Apes BMX  http://habmx.com/ from Austin were playing at Tsunami Sushi with The Dead Keny G's (Skerik and Mike Dillon from Les Claypool's Frog Brigade/Critters Buggin' and Brian Haas from the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey) and Randy and I were off to catch the show. Unfortunately we missed The Dead Keny G's show due to the clock in my car being off an hour(Dammit!) but we did get to see the Hairy Ape's show in it's entirety and we got to hang out with them for a while after the show. It was too cool! There were about 30 people there so it was real easy to get right up front to see all the action.
 
        Then to top it all off, Scott Evans played at the solo last night! WOW! I'm sure glad I didn't miss that one. The after party wasn't bad either. There were some great musicians there. Scott, Doyle, Steve and Donnie Just to name a few and we jammed all night long! I won't be forgetting that anytime soon! That's for sure!
 
         Well, Gotta go for now. Hope to see you sometime this week!
