Things have really changed a lot in the last few days.As you have probably noticed, I have added another band to the list. Last Sunday night I got a call from the band Down For Five. They had just lost their drummer and wanted to know if I was interested in auditioning. I let them know I was definitely interested, thanked them for the call and we set up a meeting. I listened to a couple of the tunes off their CD that night and went to the audition the next day. I got everything set up and we jammed a little, to kind of get a feel for each other and then we played the songs I had listened to. Shortly after, I was offered the position and I gratefully accepted! I feel really fortunate to have hooked up with such a great group of musicians who are
really good people as well. The other band members and I have known each other for close to 15 years. So I am proud to say that I am adding another band to the list! Along with some more dates as well. I'm finally playing The Cain's Ballroom!!! I have wanted to play that place as long as I can remember and I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to happen. It's probably not that big of a deal to someone who has played there a bunch of times but, the way I see it, just about every band I have ever looked up to has played on that stage! Down For Five performs at Cancer Sucks Benefit Show at Cain's Ballroom in downtown Tulsa. Ten bands for $10. Purchase tickets from us at a discounted rate for $10 or you can buy them at the Cain's Box office or at gettix.net. Everyone attending the show receives a $10 gift certificate to Guitar Center. This show is all ages. Cain's Ballroom is located at 423 N. Main in downtown Tulsa. Full line up is as follows:
