Down For Five took a little break the last couple of weeks to kind-of recharge our
batteries,but we are back and ready to rock! New dates below.
2007 PAYNE COUNTY LINE MUSIC AWARDS!
The 2007 Payne County Line Music Awards ballots are open and we need your votes! Thanks to all of you that voted last year, "Hell Or High Water" was nominated for "Oklahoma Band Of The Year" and "Oklahoma Acoustic Band Of The Year". Plus, I was somehow nominated for "Oklahoma Drummer Of The Year" (I'm still in shock!) The number of votes last year was around 1.5 million! That is some really big exposure! So if you can find some spare time to fill out this year's ballot, we would really appreciate it. Hurry though, voting ends January 31st 2007 at midnight! Don't forget to vote for other local bands and venues too! This thing put Bartlesville on the so-called map-of-music last year with lots of local Musicians, Bands and Venues getting awards and nominations, including our very own Solo Club! So don't forget to spread your love in the Bartlesville, Tulsa area! Ready To Vote? You can find a

Well, it's been a great year for me and all the bands I've been in! I actually beat my record number of 151 shows in 2005 with 154 shows in 2006!!! So I just want to say THANK YOU, for everyone showing up consistently to these shows! It wouldn't be possible without your support!!! Hopefully 2007 will be even better! I will leave you with a quote from a good friend of ours and yours as well.
