First of all, we want to thank everyone for joining our e-mail
list! Some of you may not know this, but there are 240 of you on
this list now! We really appreciate all of your support!

We have had a whole lot of phone calls recently, wondering if
Book'em Dan-O is breaking up, I guess because I've been playing
quite a bit with Steve and Doyle. I wanted to let everyone know,
there is NO break up! I am simply doing what i love to do, as much
as i possibly can. Now you've heard it straight from the source. ;-)>

Speaking of Doyle and Steve, we've decided to name our little
side project. People kept asking us the name our band and we didn't
have one, and the first thing that came to my mind was that old
saying {It'll be hail or high water before I _____ ______ ______!!!}

Well, up until recently I would have filled those blanks
with "Play Country Music". That's how we came up with the name, so
from here on out, we will be "Hell Or High Water"

I know, I know, some of you that know me well, are saying
WHAT!!! You're in a country band!!!! Well, yes AND no. Yes, we play
country but No, not just country. The stuff we do play is the old
Outlaw Country, like David Allan Coe, Merle Haggard, Waylon
Jennings, Johnny Cash ect... You know, all the good stuff!! We do
all kinds of different styles like Rock (Modern, Southern, Classic),
Funk, Folk, Reggae and Blues, with a touch of Bluegrass, Jazz, and
rockabilly at times. And all that makes for one hell of a good time
so, come check it out before you start making comments about me
playing in a "country Band". Who knows you might even start to like
some of it ;-)>

Ok, here's our new updated schedule, there is NO gig for either
band this weekend, Book'em is spending time w/family, Doyle is
playing Sunfest and Stevo Knievo is still doing his solo thing at
the Dead End Rally in Peru.




It has been one year ago today (June 2nd) that we lost a very
good friend and a very talented songwriter and musician "Billy Jack
Dodd" Come out tonight and help us celebrate the good music and good
memories he left behind! We Miss You Billy!
