There has been a few changes for the Strike Axe Rally this weekend..........

"Hell or High Water" AND "Book'em Dan-O" will be playing Friday as planned, but Saturday's Lineup has changed to "Book'em Dan-O" and "Big Daddy & the Blueskickers"

Also, a friend of ours (Squeaky) sent us the following message to forward to you about the flier we sent out on the last e-mail....

The flyer for the upcoming Strike Axe Motorcycle Rally is wrong! IT SHOULD READ ONLY $13.00 FOR 3 DAYS OF BAD ASS FUN!!!!

I think you will be glad to tell your friends that after reconsidering the parking fees for your car at the Strike Axe Rally it was decided to drop them! On the flyer that was sent out it notes a $20.00 fee for parking at the rally...this was printed by mistake !

After having a chance to think about the cost to attend the rally Bob Glen wanted to create an opportunity for your friends and the public to attend not only a bad ass motorcycle rally but a chance to hear a killer outdoor concert that Carl Lowe had a chance to bring to the stage .....the members of Book'em Dan-O and Hell or High Water will rock the rally grounds. Included in the bad ass line up is Big Daddy and the Blueskickers.

Remember, its only $13.00 to attend this 3 day event and T Shirts will be available for $15.00 to document this happening (Book'em Dan-O fans this is your chance to own an original biker T Shirt that definately kicks their claim to fame off for the fall 2004)!

So everybody save your lunch money; rest up and be ready to rock for 3 long days.

Included in the entertainment will be the volunteer firemen from 8 surounding counties doing fundraisers that include Bike Wash with Bike Washing Babes; Hayrides around the rally grounds (its not what you ride its do you ride??). Be sure to put up your own special lights by your campsite and your friends will be able to find you when the Strike Axe wagon pulls thru the camp grounds and Little Red Wagon pulled by Miss Strike Axe herself and photo shoot! Come get your picture taken with our hard working (good looking) volunteer firemen and their firetrucks (including not only little red wagons but big ones too!) Also, friends of the Barnsdall Rural Fire Department will be bringing their helicopter and helping them raise money for themselves in this upcoming fire season. Be safe and please don't leave your campfires.

Also, tell your friends to listen for the voice of Rick Gill (Big Daddy and the Blues Kickers) on KMOD advertising the STRIKE AXE MOTORCYCLE RALLY, October 1, 2 and 3rd.

Here's Directions to Strike Axe...

Take Hwy 123 towards Woolaroc. Turn Right/West on County Road #2706(South Highway 123 Smoke Shop/14th street) Go approx 3 miles to County Road #2107(just past sand creek bridge) Turn Right/North and go 1 1/4 miles to dead end. (See Attached Map.)

Directions from Bartlesville; Take Hwy 60 East all the way through Nowata, Vinita and Afton to Hwy 59(Buffalo Ranch Citgo station). Go south 7 and 7/10ths miles to 250 rd(Tomcat Corner Citgo station). Turn Left (East) go 1 and 3/10ths miles and you are there! It's on your right but, it's kind of hard to see, when the road curves to the left just go straight instead.

Most of you know that some time ago I was with a band called Sofa Choker and had done some recording with them, well that recording is finally getting some airplay on some radio stations, including Tulsa's Z-104.5 the Edge. The band has since changed their name to Radio League Champions and the name of the Ep is Favorite Dish.
