Hi gang:

Every now and then people ask about warmups - as witness this thread - but just
singing some notes in not warming up, necessarily. I studied with a man named
Joe Kline years ago and learned (and now teach) a lot about support, the
physiology of the voice, how not to damage it, etc.

I would encourage all of you to find a teacher who knows the voice, and can work
with you to improve your skills. Just singing low won't help your low range
(maybe it will in a year or two, but that's a long wait, and even then if you do
it wrong, you may never increase your range).
