At the Cardinal District contest last Friday, a quartet called Bold Venture took
the stage, and to my surprise, the bass singer was none other than Kenny Hatton!
They did a fine job, made the finals, and finished fourth. I talked to Kenny
afterwards, and suggested that he could join the Barbershop Basses Yahoo group
now. I'm sure that he and Brian Beck could share some interesting banter about
their trans-sectional experiences.
