Received my Deering Goodtime Special w. resonator from Banjo Hut.com. Great
sounding and looking instrument!
Reworked my washtub bass, which I'm bringing to 7/12's jam. I changed the string
cofig. from E-A-D to A-D-G. Just couldn't get enough oomph out of that low E.
Also changed the bridge from 1/8 in. brass fittings to handmade maple. (Huh?)
Banjo note - I discovered, actually, rediscovered Grandpa Jones. Because of his
style I may spend most of my time practicing clawhammer.
Boy, is he fun to watch on YouTube!
