I just got home from seeing Al and the gang and holy COW what a
incredibly FANTASTIC SHOW!!! I'm deaf as a post but I'm HAPPY!!

They started with an absolutely BLISTERING rendition of the 'Angry
White Boy Polka'. From there, it just got better. Don't remember
the exact order after that. I tried to remember but that's
impossible :)

The show was a great blend of new stuff and old stuff. I was
disappointed that they didn't play 'Hardware Store' but hey can't
complain really.

And the rest from before that--Smells Like Nirvana, Fat, Eat It,
Beverly Hillbillies, Lasagna, Melanie, My Bologna, One More Minute,
Yoda (encore), and the YODA CHANT!!

Actually the cool thing about 'One More Minute' is that Al went into
this shtick about wanting to do something different. So he said he
was going to ask someone to make a request. So he walked along the
stage and the people in the audience were screaming out stuff. Al
said he could only ask one person so he walked over to Jim.

And Jim said he wanted to play 'Sweet Home Alabama.' And they did!
They played a couple minutes of that before Al broke in, told them
that's enough and then they launched into the end of 'One More
Minute'. Was totally freaking cool. Wish they would have kept on
playing Skynryd!

Two hours straight of pure Al bliss. Behold the Power of Al. I
don't think I let go of my securAlty blanket, my new Poodle Hat tour
tshirt, the whole entire time.

So I think my hearing will be relatively back to normal in the
morning. I am going to go take a bath and go to bed.

I really wish that everyone could go see the Poodle Hat tour. Yet
another unbelievably wonderful Al experience.
