....this group would be worth a fortune!!
Welcome, all new members. Thanks for wanting to join BNZ. Feel free
to post whatever you'd like, whether it's Al-related or not.
Please, however, keep in mind that this group has members of all
ages, so we appreciate you keeping your vocabulary in the PG-13
area.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep this
group a fun place for everyone.
As for you established members...and you know who you are...why
aren't any of you posting...ANYTHING??? I know what you're
thinking...."Why haven't YOU been posting, most beloved moderator?"
Well, 'tis true....I have been derelict in my duties here. Life
seems to keep interferring with the fun stuff, so I haven't been able
to just sit and post nonsensical drivel (or is that "drivvel"?) for
quite some time. Yes, I
know you've missed that...a lot. I apologize...almost sincerely,
even.
Anyway, all members...new and not-so-new...please think of
something....anything....interesting or ridiculous or whatever...to
post. And, I shall do the same. :)
~CJ~
Welcome to the new year, and more importantly, Welcome New Members!!
We're glad to have you here.....we needed fresh blood. Oh,
oops...that's the comment I use at the vampire groups I belong to.
Okay, okay...that joke kinda sucked. (get it? :p hehe)
Anyway, to all the new members, and to any old members that this may
apply to.....Please feel free to post on anything you like. As long
as it falls within the group guidelines (which aren't that
restricting), we'd all enjoy reading your ramblings. Ramblings are
good. :) And, while you're in a typing mood....make your way over
to www.barglenawdlezouss.com and join Behind The Fans. It's very
cool and informative....you'll get to know a lot more (maybe more
than you want to know) about fellow Al fans.
Thanks again for joining, you newbies...thanks for staying true to
the group, you alreadybies...and start posting all of youbies!!!
**CJ**
Oh, it's just all about you, isn't it?? lol
Yes, everyone...Happy New Year to all the BNZers! Best of everything in this
upcoming year, and those that follow....be good, stay safe, take care, and by
all means dare to be stupid and bargle nawdle zouss every friggin' chance you
get!!! :)

Hey!!! It worked!!! I had the song "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" stuck in my
head since last Christmas....and now, thanks to your
so-obvious-I-feel-stupid-now solution, I no longer have that song on a
continuous loop inside my demented mind!!!
So....uuuuuhhhhh....how do I get rid of the Mario theme song now?

Well, to get rid of it, just hum the Mario theme song.
You'll forget all about that song. It realy works.
However, it might not work if you think "It's not
gonna work" as you hum it. I've used it before. It
works. Ba Da Da Da Du Duh Duh Du Da, Ba Da Da Du Da

Just wanted to say...particularly to those of you who read the posts
at the group or receive the email versions in their mailboxes...
(because, who else is gonna see this, right?)...we, the powers that
be, at BNZ, hope all of you have a very safe, enjoyable and Weird
Thanksgiving!!
Whether you're preparing a turkey dinner with all the trimmings
yourself, or travelling to a friend/family member's home for dinner,
or dining along ::sigh:: at some freakish Chinese restaurant where
they serve duck with the head and flipper feet still attached (I sooo
love that flick "A Christmas Story"...it rocks!)....whether you
partake of roast turkey, smoked turkey, deep fried turkey, or the
ever frigtening tofurkey (geez, even the name sounds gross...no
offense to any veggans who may be reading this)...whether you have
the day off or have been doomed to break rocks in the bowels of
Hades...whether you're wondering just how much longer this crazy run-
on sentence can possible go on...and on...and on, or you haven't even
noticed that I have taken the art of lengthy, nonsensical posting at
a Yahoo group to a new level...remember this:
Be thankful, everyday, for everything and everyone you hold dear in
your life. You never know when you won't see them again...especially
if crazy, old, Aunt Myrna is bringing her famous (or infamous, as the
case may be) Civil War Jello Surprise (the surprise being those
aren't chunks of fruit in there...Aunt Myrna doesn't believe in
letting anything go to waste...not even her goldfish that have
died). Yeah, I'd be saying my prayers for sure,
before digging in to that. Hmmmm...that tofurky is sounding better
all the time.
**CJ**
P.S. Yes. I know. I am one strange chickee. (But you love it!)
Good luck!
Here are the Weird Al songs I can think of off the top of my head
with "history" in the lyrics. Can you think of others?
Jerry Springer - "I have a history of..."
Everything You Know Is Wrong - "...any point in history that..."
Couch Potato - "...The History Channel..."

Hey, you're funny. I like you. But, don't get any ideas.....I've
got a riding crop, and I know how to use it!! Too bad I don't have a
horse. ::sigh:: Oh well.
I'm telling ya, I make post a message bragging about how the spammers
have seemingly been chased away by my obvious superiority and
freakishly odd sense of humor...oh, and my ability to delete/ban
posts and members at will...then suddenly, a whole slew of new (yet
nauseatingly familiar) spam posts begin to flood the group.
Damnit!! When I say no spamming, I mean NO SPAMMING! Sheesh.
Of course, my faux wrath does not, in any way, apply to the funny one
in here (aka WeirdAlFan989) who ALMOST fooled me with their imitation
spam. hehe That's
what I like to see in here.....posts that are either informative,
interesting, entertaining or simply ridiculous. OR, all of the above.
And now for something completely different.....
How many songs can you think of have titles that are the same as the
name of the band who performed them?? I can think of 4, right off
the top of my head. I'm gonna add to my list, if possible, and we'll
see if any of you are game to try and see how many you can come up
with. There's no prize or anything tangible to present to the person
who thinks of the most....just a little, but very sincere, "WooHoo!
Way To Go!! You Rock!!" for your effort. Oh, and I will also applaud
you....standing, even. :)

Hey, I'm always glad to get input from the members of this group, as
is the group owner. And, for the record, we both feel the same way
as you do, regarding the posts having to be screened prior to them
being allowed to post to the group page. The only reason we were
considering it, was because some voiced wrath and anger and other bad
thingees solely because of those "few" spam posts. They are
annoying, to a certain extent, but not that major....at least, in my
oh so humble opinion. Anyway, the owner and I were talking about
that again, when I was reading your post.....I think we're gonna just
leave things the way they are. I just need to make sure I delete
those offensive posts before they have enough time to put down roots
and begin rotting and stinking up the group. Ew, ick, yuk, patooey,
P-U!!! hehe And, as long as my computer cooperates (or AOL, as the
case may be) then I should be able to keep up on those li'l buggers.
Thanks for the input, and please feel free to keep those cards and
letters coming. :)

Yes, I did see something like that...on a couple of the posts. I
guess that's their way of trying to make the whole thing seem more
legitimate. I would hope no one in the group would believe that spam

....my car is so much more difficult to maneuver through traffic.
Sorta.
My computer...well, actually my internet capabilities....have been on
the proverbial fritz, lately. And, naturally, a few of those naughty
spammers took advantage of that fact, and decided to run rampant
amongst and betwixt all the other, legitimate posts. Those damn
dirty apes. Grrrr!!!
I've deleted the offensive posts, but I'm sad that we might've lost a
member due to the spammers. That I don't understand. I mean, sure
the posts are annoying, but are they really that big a deal?? Oh
well, I guess to some people, they are. It's such a shame, though,
as the member was a really groovy person. Even participated at the
Bargle Nawdle Zouss website, answering Question of The Week
regularly. Hopefully, they'll continue to do that, and perhaps, come
back and rejoin this group. If you're out there and read this post,
please come back. I miss you already.
Okay, now it's time for me to go check out The Onion, as per the
suggestion of one of our other illustrious/non-spamming members. At
least I don't think that Onion post would be considered spam. Nah,
it's not spam. It couldn't be. If it was, I would've deleted it by
now. ::sigh:: It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it. And
since I have no life, I guess it might as well be me.
Ciao for now, my tender lumplings.

well, I'll be damned impressed, that's for sure.)
