“Omne Ensis Impera” introduces an additional strength to Arditi’s
compositions - epic orchestral loops and thunderous percussions are
granted a more prominent role, stirring the damp and suffocating
ambiance that the duo have always produced so well. The highly
anticipated new album by the Swedish duo is finally upon us, under the
title "Omne Ensis Impera". The sense of determination that echoes
through their music and which has brought them to the forefront of
Martial / Industrial Neo-Classical scene has stayed untouched, evoking
the sense of duty and commitment that Italy's WWI elite storm troops,
from which the name Arditi originated, were known for.

Similarly, shades of the Italian Futuristic movement of the early XXth
century, which served as inspiration in the early days of the project,
remain imprinted in Arditi's work - "Omne Ensis Impera" could well be a
modern interpretation of the Futurist's goal of glorifying warfare to an
artistic expression beyond its inherent violence and intrinsic sense of
heroism.

"Omne Ensis Impera" has been mastered by Kamrat Nordvargr of Mz.412 and
Toroidh, an old ally of the band. Nordvargr has also contributed with
additional arrangements on a couple of tracks, and prepared a slightly
modified track list, which will feature on the vinyl version of the
album that will follow soon, together with a limited edition box set.
The CD version is presented in a deluxe glossy Digipak, with embossed
artwork.

Calabi-Yau (called in the names of two mathematicians (Eugenio Calabi)
and (Shing-Tung Yau )) spaces may be that microscopic shape, deep inside
the hidden dimensions of string theory. There are many such spaces…
According to string theory, space-time isn't 4-dimensional as you might
expect, but 10-dimensional. Where are the extra six dimensions? One
answer is that they're "compactified": roughly speaking, rolled up into
such a small space as to be unobservable at human scales.

You are in the forest, it is night, and in a moment you are in space,
exploring the phenomena, for which there is no explanation and knowledge
in our days…And You hear the sound of loquacious water far away from
You. The sky is in front of You…You can observe all the planets to be
clearly. And there are plenty of animals around You, which You‘ve never
seen before, which are so close, that they are almost touching You.
Thought is equal to movement, there is no difference between them. There
is only one way to understand these visions… It is possible because of
«calabi-yau», spontaneous movements and feelings inside myriads of spaces…

Tactio is the live recording of a Cisfinitum concert at the St. Petri
Dom (St. Peter's Cathedral) in Bremen, on November 24, 2005. The
particular (and as expected highly favorable) acoustics of this
environment were consistently used not only as an enhancing effect but
as an integral foundation for the performance, making it unmistakably
tied to its context. Presented in the form of six continuous tracks, the
album is a contemplative composition of vibrant drones, reverberating
bells and synthesized resonance, gracefully evolving from the celestial
tones of its start to the tellurian pulses of its climax. This is a
piece of work that is elaborate in its simplicity, and it's with much
appreciation that it is presented here today. The beautiful iconic
artwork by Evgeny Kuprienko further emphasizes the relic-like qualities

Muddy Speaking Ghosts Through My Machines' is the brand new album
released together by Fabio Orsi and Gianluca Becuzzi. This album will be
certainly followed by other cooperations, considering the big friendly
artistic sodality between them. Fabio e Gianluca are a strange duo,
considering the big differences of their artistic back-ground. Fabio
Orsi is a young and unexpected talent. After his first album, "Osci"
(LP, SmallVoices 2005), produced by Gianluca Becuzzi, he got a lot of
positive feedbacks, worldwide, by the most important international
media, confirmed by his second official release "For Alan Lomax" (CD, A
Silent Place 2006) splitted with cosmical Italian duo My Cat is an
Alien. Gianluca Becuzzi is a very well known character of the Italian
experimental scene since from the 80s, under many different alias.
Recently known as Kinetix, Gianluca latest release is the very well
appreciated "Memory Makes Noise" (CD, SmallVoices 2006) a great
electroacoustic pearl. The unexpected uncounter between different
forces, experiences and visions of this two artists is prefectly melted
in this album: strong and tied, an imaginary place where folkway and
research, past and present, distance and closeness, mud and clouds,
ghosts and machines meets. Shreds of ballads, guitars and old keyboards
floating on the vibrant surface of this faery river and disappear, towed
off by drones and rumors, pouring between distant voices and centenary
blues songs from the Alan Lomax archive. Raptur and sweet lostness: this
is the main sensation. It could be listed as Avant-Folk, or

This album is devoted to a phenomenon of the "Lucid dreams".
A “lucid dream” - is a dream, in which the person is aware that he or
she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. During lucid dreams you
have control over the dream characters and environment, as well as the
ability to perform otherwise physically impossible feats. The feelings
which you feel during lucid dreams are very similar to those available
during a waking state. Often they surpass the 'usual' with a saturation
and intensity.

This phenomenon has been researched by such well-known researchers as
Stephen LaBerge, Robert Monroe, Carlos Castaneda, etc.. The 9th book of
Carlos Castaneda - "The Art of Dreaming" explains more fully the events
occuring within this album.

The album is conceived as travel from the moment of falling asleep up to
the depths of the infinite universe of the Dreaming: “Vivid Dream” -
this is a dream, where colours and events are extremely bright. After
awakening we never forget these dreams, it remains in the memory as a

LUIGI TURRA: ENSO, CD

Field recording, electroacoustic, evanescent resonances, minimal acts
full of organic substances, atmospheres finely wrought in the void by
impenetrable geometries, evoking zen gardens (graphically portrayed on

more is embodied in this Luigi Turra's project published by Smallvoices.
He's a clever sound designer, modulating contrasts, and describing with
obsessive care circular universes (expressed by the Japanese language
term 'enso'). It's a project that, in settings and drafting, somehow
follows the intercultural research concerning writings and languages of
the world, previously started in projects developed together with
Gianluca Becuzzi (here he's the executive producer). Three tracks,
dilated in suggestive and aesthetic scores, escaping on one hand the
emphasis and reflecting it on the other hand like in a mirror, alerting

the gray soundscape is otherworldly. I found myself journeying to
foreign lands and exotic locales, some beyond our atmosphere. I went

for anything. I had a very powerful cleansing experience. Amir's deep
desert washes, Mathias' spiritual manipulations and Rudiger's dark
drones surrounded me safely and warmly as we explored the darker sides
of my psyche. That protection empowered me to look beyond the dark to
see the light on the other side of my inner self. Finally, refreshed and
rejuvenated, we returned to the here and now. I look forward to more

TROUM: OBJECTLESSNESS, CD

There is a big gap between “rational”, verbal language and the
pre-symbolic language of our emotional and unconscious mind. Music is
perceived partly with our conscious mind, who can analyze it and reflect
on it. On another part, it is perceived by our unconsciousness, by our
“primal consciousness” that lies “under” the rational mind.
The idea: Experimental music, especially that of a more droning
character, can easier “get in touch” or be unconsciously connected with
this primal state of mind. It is music that is linked with unconscious
fantasies coming from a pre-verbal sphere of existence... the phase of
life based on the dyadic interaction with the “primal object”, the mother.

At this early stage, there’s no awareness existing of being a full
separated Subject, and no other full separated Objects can be perceived.
Inner and outer reality is the same. Spheric, droning, dissolving music
is pointing unconsciously at this “objectless” sphere of existence. This
release is dedicated to the idea of an especially formed “pre-symbolic”
music.

The aboriginal word "Tjukurrpa", translated as "dreamtime",should
symbolize the aim to build music that creates a dreamy state of mind,
music of yearning, meditation and inner movement. The
"Tjukurrpa"-trilogy shows the three basic musical spheres of TROUM,
"harmonies", "drones" and "pulsations": This second part presents the
dark, droney & minimal side of TROUM.

Dronecore. This is the third part in TROUMs Tjukurrpa-trilogy, following
part 1 (harmonies) and part 2 (drones). This final part is dedicated to
“rhythms” and “pulsations”, with a focus on rhythmic, pounding, looping
& repetitive elements and structures. With TJUKURRPA 3, TROUM shows a
not so well known side, using the trance-power of repetitive textures.
In every of the seven extensive tracks (playtime 66+ min) rhythms in
various moods build the basis: from smooth ambience-pulsations over
ritualistic surroundings up to ecstatic pounding harshness, from
underneath & soft pulsative patterns up to evolving harsh & overwhelming
rhythmic loops. The music on Tjukurrpa III is made by raw & processed
loops & handplayed percussion, along with electric guitar & bass,
balalaika, mouth organ, male & female human voice, flute, and accordeon.
No samplers, synths or computers used.

really named "smoking music": it is delicate made melodic ambient
compositions (9 Smoking Zones). To creat? this album Vadim used
keyboards, clarinet, samples and piano. It is a good listening for

Eno or Harold Budd.

this prolific German artist! FEUERSTERN (which translates as "Firestar")
captures two tracks of luminous tones & magnetic resonances which create

the counterpoint, very subtle hisses, smacking & clicking sounds can be
distinguished. These are enriched further on Side B with field
recordings by MICHAEL NORTHAM made in September 2006 at the Audioframes
Sonic Art Festival in Herne. This was where FEUERSTERN was also
performed in a choreographed way using fireworks! Very delicate tone
colours and a perfectly balanced sound pattern allow for contemplative
