magickal practices, short monographies about esoteric topics, written by

together with other more texts and interviews all translated into
english and a complete discography. The 40 pages deluxe book is CD size.

The master has been remastered by Andreas Resch and we are indebted to
Mr Marco Deplano (Foresta di Ferro) for his faithful help in this

BLOOD AXIS: BLOT: SACRIFICE IN SWEDEN, CD
(Cold Meat)
In November 1997, Blood Axis was invited to fly to Sweden and present a
special live performance for the Cold Meat Industry 10th Anniversary
Feast. The show was recorded on digital multi-track directly from the
mixing board, and the resulting tapes were brought back to USA and
re-mixed and re-processed by Blood Axis temselves for an exceptional
result: a crystalline and intense summoning of everything from haunting
heathen mantras to electronic aggression, traditional European melodies
to crushing bombastic anthems.

DESIDERII MARGINIS: SEVEN SORROWS, CD
(Cold Meat)
Seven Sorrows is the sixth album by the renowned swedish dark-ambient
project Desiderii Marginis, and a most eagerly awaited follower to the
highly acclaimed album of 2005, That Which Is Tragic And Timeless. With
the material on Seven Sorrows Johan Levin, the mind behind Desiderii
Marginis, has dug deeper than ever before within the creative depths and
so ventures even further into the darklands of dispair and solitude,
deeper into the vibrant shadows of the human mind. Since the very debute
in 1993, Desiderii Marginis has, with every new offering, refined and
reinvented the trademark sound, and this release is no exception to the
rule. Strummed guitars and dulcimers blend seamlessly with soaring
strings, raging drones, the sound of twisted metal and spoken word.
Diverse sources, yet tamed to an intriguing and alluring whole that
slowly spin it’s web around the helpless listener and drags them into
the vortex of dreamlike darkness.

First 2000 copies in a 6-panel digipak, artwork photos taken by the
exceptional photographer Birthe Klementowski.

PRICE: 12 €

DEUTSCH NEPAL: DYSTOPIAN PARTYCOLLECTION, CD
(Cold Meat)

material from compilations and limited edited vinyls. It is not to be
seen as a major release from Deutsch Nepal but a small shop of horrors
where everyone could shoplift whenever in the spirit. Quality and
atmosphere is different from track to track as there is no theme or
secret path to follow on this album - It's plain Deutsch Nepal - Just as
we love it! So just C´mon get naked... remember nude improvised dancing
is not only for fun it´s also for free!

This is Deutsch Nepals Dystopian Partycollection to be followed by many
more sad experiences in your poor and empty lives... [Label info]

ENCOMIAST: BATHED IN SUNLIGHT, CD-R
(Crucial Bliss)
Bathed In Sunlight is the breatakingly beautiful new full length from
the longrunning Denver drone ensemble Encomiast, featuring five lengthy
tracks of instrumental bliss from Ross Hagen and company that bring
together slowly drifting drones speckled with shifting layers of angelic
female vocal harmonies, lilting Loveless-esque melodies, ominous
ambience floating over simple hand drum rhythms, dramatic dark pop with
strummed acoustic guitars and Ross' deep crooning vocals...and more of
the ghostly flute playing that has always set Encomiast apart from the
rest of the drone/ambient underground. Fans of Encomiast's previous
releases are going to be surprised when they hear songs like "Laughter
In The Storm" , whose droning psychedelic folk is unlike anything that
Ross has done before, a thoroughly entracing combination of droning
electronics and brooding acoustic strum. And then there's the stunning
finale "Evergreen", opening with gently acoustic guitar swimming in
delay before a gorgeous female voice enters
under a slight veil of distortion, like she's singing from the other end
of a long distance phone call, the distortion then lifting revealing her
voice in perfect clarity. A simple but perfect effect. The melody in
this song is likewise simple but perfect, a melancholy hook that is
gradually joined by drums and electronic drones as the song evolves,
turning into a amazing piece of dreamy ambient post-rock pop. Fans of
Encomiast's previous droneworks and the kind of evocative ambient rock
that Temporary Residence is known for will LOVE Bathed In Sunlight,
which travels the luminescent ley lines between ambient dronescapes,
folk music, and post-rock.

FISTULA: LESSONS IN LAMENTATION, CD-R
(Crucial Bliss)
At some point last year, the members of Fistula met up with another
Ohioan, Steve Makita from the midwest power-violence legends Apartment
213, midwest power-tool noise legends Lockweld, and current second
throat for Agoraphobic Nosebleed. At some point, both of these parties
decided that joining forces would be a good move and had Makita lug over
his toolbox to the Fistula practice space and drag out some of his most
lethal circuit-shredders, keyboards and power tools. The end result are
two new discs, Lessons In Lamentation and Inverted Black Star, each one
possessed by a single hour-plus track of Fistula with Steve Makita
conjuring fucking HUGUNGOUS slabs of apocalyptic free-metal. And it's
Fistula's most abstract, demonic music ever, a charred mess of harsh
electronic skree and gut-rumbling noise and unholy doom metal.

In contrast to it's companion disc Inverted Black Star, Lessons In
Lamentation sounds like it's virtually "rocking". Where Inverted spews
monoto-riffs and malevolent power tool noise across the jet-black waste
of it's hour long length, this jam is more upbeat, opening with a
massive chugging sludgy metal riff that cycles over and over, slowly
joined by a swarm of sizzling feedback and high pitched sine-whine.
Crazed shredding solos appear, the central riff changes shape
throughout, the whole track seems to be split into three distinct
sections. It's super hypnotic as Fistula grinds away endlessly
surrounded by Makita's dense and textured noise. Deep monstrous vocals
emerge from out of the filth, gutteral invocations that are impossible
to decipher. A massive plodding industrial dirge, a meditation on
repetitive metal riffing and the blackest feedback, recorded all the way
in the red, a majestic crumbling obelisk of monstrous noise-doom.

FISTULA: INVERTED BLACK STAR, CD-R

The title itself points to the pure blackness of Inverted Black Star: a
massive hour-plus wave of bleak, blackened improvised doom riffing, only
one or two riffs tops, but each one repeated over and over into infinity
as the band and Makita pile on layers and layers of corrosive feedback,
pneumatic drill noises, slicing sinewave tones, long black tentacles of
undulating drone. About halfway through the disc, a voice begins
speaking underneath the crushing sludge and noise, and it creates an
effect similiar to hearing a television news bradcast about something
really bad from four rooms away, only to sink back into the lumbering,
monotonous deathtrance. Utterly crushing.

FOUNDATION HOPE: TUNES FOR THE WOUNDED, CD
(Cold Meat)
‘Tunes for the wounded’ can be considered a lament. It is a defamatory
accusation to the world and it’s suffering. Foundation hope lodges
complaints through gritty ambient-industrial structures, broken sounds
and despairing moods. Always without losing touch with the beautiful and
melodic. Always with that tiny bright spark of hope, overshadowed by
doubt and cynicism.

This successor to ‘The faded reveries’ is a little more harsh.
Incorporated are distorted guitar drones, tape-decks, broken strings and
noisy outbursts. Firmly rooted in reality, this is tears dropping
slowly, a herd crawling through mud and blood, and a call to a redeemer
who isn’t there.

PRICE: 12 €

GOLGATHA: TALES OF TRANSGRESSION & SACRIFICE, CD
(Cold Meat)
‘Transgression means to step over a certain point that normally cannot,
or should not be passed; to transgress boundaries is to break down
boundaries — transgression is a departure from the given, the existing,
the normal, the world as we know it.’
The French philosopher Georges Bataille serves as the inspiration for
the new and third fulltime album of the German ritual-folk-band
:Golgatha:. Founded in 2004 by Christoph Donarski and S. Marleni,
:Golgatha: began in the dark realms of ambient-drones and continually
developed their use of acoustic instruments to create a unique mixture
organic and electronic elements. After two acclaimed albums on the
subject of heroism, ‘Tales of Transgression & Sacrifice’ marks a certain
change of course in the music of :Golgatha: – in a psychonautic trip
from ritual-drumming via multi-textured soundscapes up to catchy
folk-songs this album appears even more sensual, erotic and fascinating
than before.

Included are new versions of the songs ‘Rites of Spring’ (from
CMI-compilation ‘All My Dead Friends’), ‘Garden of Love’(from
NONPOP-compilation) and ‘Flesh of the Orchid’. This time :Golgatha:
introduce the beautiful female voice of Sorakey besides a wide variety
of acoustic instrumentation (acoustic guitar, viola, bodhran drum, Asian
gong, flutes etc.).

‘Tales of Transgression & Sacrifice’ was produced in close collaboration
with German photo-artist Birthe Klementowski, who has done mystic and
erotic pictures for each song contained, reproduced in the booklet.

The new album by German ritual-folk-band :Golgatha: will appeal to fans
of apocalyptic folk, shamanistic soundscapes and gothic-mysticism alike.

Comes in a very exclusive DVD-sized digipak with 32 pages booklet.

PRICE: 13 €

HEDORAH: S/T, CD-R
(Crucial Bliss)
Taking it's name from the aerial pollution god that faced off against
Godzilla in the Japanese psychedelic kaiju classic Godzilla vs. Hedorah
(1971), Hedorah is fully documented on this sort-run disc that combines
the track "From Beyond" from the split cassette with The Fortieth Day,
"Planet Of Doom" from the Dr. Who Vs The Noise compilation, and five
unreleased tracks. Hedorah proves to be a multi-tentacled beast:
"Crystal Smoke" evokes a smog-ridden wasteland laced with acid-rock
guitar soloing, pummeling industrial bass, and trance inducing beats,
and ends up as some kind of grim krautrock jam. "Self Medicated" emits
looping dialogue and whirring drones over monstrous throat chanting.
"Hyperbolean" combines terrifying screams converted to echo-chamber hiss
and overdriven, pummeling metal riffage thrust so far into the red that
it sounds like there are flaps of speaker material smacking up against
yer eardrums. The twenty-minute "Black Walls" is the apex of distortion
though. That final track starts off as a sheet of obsidian ambience, a
shimmering drone streaked by whirring noises, but then the riff appears,
a massive three-chord doom dirge looming over the horizon, massively
distorted and plodding, a hateful obelisk of fuzz lumbering through the
increasingly violent blasts of feedback and distorted vocal noise that's
shot across the soundfield. Ominous synth melodies and dank cave
ambience appear later on, but become devoured by vicious feedback
lashings a la Prurient and the return of that bottomless crushing doom
dirge. Heavy is an understatement.

Packaged in our signature 3-panel Crucial Bliss glossy sleeve, which has
been designed by Lord Keeler himself. The disc is attached to the inside
of the jacket on a plastic hub, and there is also a small insert card
included in the package. Released in an edition of 250 copies.

secret Spheres, power of which are able to destroy illusority of
«reality» and move the listener over the boundaries of limits, as it
befits the true Black Art ... [Label info]

NADJA: DESIRE IN UNEASINESS, CD
(Crucial Blast)
Following a wave of recent reissues and re-recorded versions of older
CD-R titles, Desire In Uneasiness is an album of all new material from
the acclaimed Canadian dreamsludge weavers Nadja. Five colossal jams of
eternally-fuzzy, ethereal dirge that are powered by the interlocking
bass guitars of Leah Buckareff and Aidan Baker, who set loose a wave of
monstrous grinding bass riffs amidst a fog of beautiful, swirling
electronic effects. Desire also marks the first Nadja album to feature a
live drummer in place of the drum machine programming that has driven
the band's previous recordings, and the difference in the band's sound
is apparent from the first crushing beats of album opener
'Disambiguation'. The organic drumming here takes Nadja's music into new
realms of spacious jazzy exploration, dubby rhythms and cavernous
psychedelia, while also delivering some of the band's most grooving,
crushing hypno-bliss yet.

Desire also stands out from the rest of the Nadja catalog for it's
bizarre artwork that Aidan commisioned from his friend The Reverend
Aitor. Aitor's bright, bold lines and textured magic marker artwork
gives the gatefold jacket we've presented this disc in the look of a
twisted children's book on acid, with weird images of chickens, trees
growing through chairs, and more. The package is a sturdy 4-panel
gatefold jacket printed by Stoughton, and it looks killer.

PRICE: 12 €

NIKO SKORPIO: HALF BORN IN HALF LIGHT, CD
(Some Place Else)
Half Born in Half Light is based on the foundations of psychedelic
ambient soundscapes and darkly majestic bass drone, over which tribal
rhythms and magickal vocal invocations build grotesque alien monoliths
whose angles mock the euclidean mathematics of conventional composition.
Niko Skorpio is not restricted to one particular genre, but draws on
many sources. This makes the music colourful and diverse, yet it remains
coherent and has the artist’s unique fingerprints all over (this time
literally in the cover as well). If we are to give it a label, let’s
call it HERMETIC FUSION MUSICK.

CD comes with gorgeously designed 12-panel leaflet with art, photos,
liner notes etc. Edition of 1000 copies.

PRICE: 10 €

NORDVARGR: HELVETE, CD
(Eternal Pride)
The newest creation from Villa Bohult, the Nordvargr family burial
vault. This time the "cursed poet" Wrest from the USBM Leviathan Cult
and Drakhon (Beyond Sensory Experience, MZ. 412) have joined the night
sessions of the never sleeping Swedish zombie. It would be totally
insane to be waiting for something life-asserting, light and positive
for the three of them. "Helvete" is just the overwhelming Darkness and
the ice-cold all-filling Terror. Meditative and sinister Dark Ambient
rhythms are filled with the ominous whisper of Wrest and Drakh. Deep and
lengthy drones as well as the charming atmosphere of the Swedish
industrial decadence. At the end of this trip all of those nostalgic for
the times of the «Burning The Temple Of God» MZ. 412 will be fully
rewarded for all the years of waiting. [Label info]

PRICE: 12 €

OVRO: REVISITED, CD
(Some Place Else)
The wondergirl of Finnish dark ambient soundscapes is back with a new
album. Revisited is based on field recordings made during Ovro’s tour in
Russia in 2006, subsequently processed and treated in the studio.
Revisited is a powerful aural travelogue. It will lull the listener to a
state of receptive trance, and then starts working on the subconscious
mind. Let yourself go, lose yourself in the sound, expect lucid dreams,
out-of-body experiences, alien apparitions and a shower of sound
massaging your body throughout.

CD is packed in beautiful 4-panel digisleeve. Edition of 1000 copies.

ROME: MASSE MENSCH MATERIAL, CD
(Cold Meat)
New wine from the orchards of Rome! After two successful albums, Nera
and Confessions d’un Voleur d’Ames, ROME blesses us with its
12-track-knock-out Masse Mensch Material -which holds more than one
musical surprise! ROME’s particular brand of post-industrial folk,
combined with new-wave song-writing and neo-classical arrangements,
takes on a new and poppy twist. But these outstanding songs have way too
much depth to be dismissed as mere pop music. This third album is of a
more subtle darkness and probably ROME’s best work to date. A work of
art of extreme sincerity, Masse Mensch Material revolves around the
themes of love, faith and endurance. ROME has created a fascinating
world of contradictions which each song lays out with clarity and with
all the cruelty and kindness intact. Within a very short period of time
and at a terrifying pace, workaholic mastermind Jerome Reuter has carved
his own path and created and established a dominion of his own, with its
own codes and values. Through its bitter sweet melodies of exquisite
sadness and rebellion, its haunting lyrics, mesmerizing vocals and
recordings of unmatched production and sound, ROME has become the new
face of dark romanticism. Jerome’s voice echoes pride and death of a
time and place long forgotten. A voice which becomes the axis that
breaks one’s consciousness into some kind of tender submission. Let
yourself be buried in the shade of this masterpiece, in the beauty of
desperation! Come out under the stars! ROME is the light!

Exclusive 4-panel embossed digipak with 16-pages booklet including ALL
lyrics!

PRICE: 12 €

STURMAST: IBIS REDIBIS NUNQUAM IN BELLO PERIBIS, CD
(Cold Meat)
Sturmast from Hungary plays a unique kind of folk influenced martial
industrial music. Far from being an instrumental one-man computer band
putting some classical loops and battle sounds together, Sturmast is a
collective fronted by Varga Gabor. Here real musicians play real
instruments, thus introducing the good old band-feeling to the martial
industrial scene. The music contains powerful, eruptive live drums
(toms, snare, bass drum), haunting violin and cello, acoustic guitar,
and a selection of traditional folk instruments (e.g. kaval, jaw harp).
Even the keyboards are "live" recorded in some ways, and a considerable
part of the samples and special effects are made by the band itself.
Absorbing atmosphere links the compositions which vary from hypnotic
monotonous to marching repetitive, from moody experimental to beautiful,
melancholy-filled delicate. The lyrics, portraying the fight of the
historic and modern, spiritual and secular, uplifting and ill-fated, are
mostly in Hungarian (one song is in German), with English translations
in the stylish digipak with booklet.

VARGR: WEHRMACHT SATANAS, CD
(Eternal Pride)
The name of Henrik Nordvargr Bjorkk has always been associated to the
power of Swedish Black Industrial which has always been linked to MZ.
412 for many years. As a part of MZ. 412, Nordvargr first managed to
combine black metal and post-industrial aesthetics. But VARGR is even a
more diabolic, blasphemous and terrifying cocktail of the real
Scandinavian black metal of the early 1990s and the noise
post-industrial layers which create the atmosphere of real Evil, Death,
Chaos and Destruction in their impious graciousness. An unholy communion
summoned to create the soundtrack for all wars to come. Bow to the
Northern Wolf! [Label info]
