"Humanity Needs No Funeral", the first full-length album from AERE
AETERNUS, was released on the French label Kaosthetik. With a
multi-national and eclectic lineup, the band comprises Alex (MACABRE
OMEN, THE ONE, RAZOR OF OCCAM), Claudio Alcara (FROSTMOON ECLIPSE,
STROSZEK), Cyr (DARK SANCTUARY, ELKTRONIK SCIETY) and Radu. Drawing on
the wide range and considerable musical experience of its members, AERE
AETERNUS creates a dark, disturbing atmosphere that probably best fits
within the ambient and minimalist genres, and which the band themselves
describe as "half misanthropic ritual and half sex ritual."

The dominant atmosphere combines a sense of impending insanity with
sexual deviancy and a large dollop of occultism, creating a dark and
troubling misanthropic sojourn that is relatively unique. The final
track is probably the most musical, as it is centred on a guitar
arpeggio, but no such concessions to convention are present elsewhere on
this deeply troubling disk. The accompanying video of "Invocation" shows
a Satanic ritual in all its kitchsy glory. Recommended for those looking
for something a darker than the usual entities. 7.5/10

ATUM: HITWA, CD

If symbol can be recieved be senses, then combining with a sound, how
much a concept does it makes? Is this something more, that can move our
imagination a step forward? New album of Polish project Atum is atry in
creating such images in our minds. As a guests on the album
participated: INFAMIS, DEAD FACTORY i EQUUS.

47 minutes long album of strong dark ambient. Sounds, calm, and growing,
pulsing create a grim atmosphere. Album diversified by rhytm loops,
industrial hits and also acoustic guitar. Sounds for a Cold Meat fans,
something between Desiderii Marginis and Megaptera.

Unconventional release in 135mm by 150mm format, printed on a cardboard
45cm long. Folded in three parts, minimalistic graphic form with
specialy designed symolics. CD mounted on a rubber dot. All foiled and
hand numbered to 444 copies.

BABYLONE CHAOS / LAMBWOOL / LE DIKTAT: SHI, CD

The object you are holding in your hands is special in many respects.
The product of a collaboration between three artists with a divergent,
and indeed sometimes opposed, approach of music, this work plainly
demonstrates how their musical universes ultimately complement each
other along three axes – noise, rhythm and melody.

The melodies are provided by Lambwool. A talented musician adept at
creating musical landscapes fraught with melancholy, he colours the
record with layers of keyboards and acoustic instruments samples that
conjure up the crystalline, meditative melodies he has become renowned for.

Babylone Chaos has long been an avid proponent of chaotic, oppressing
climates and deals in suffocation and saturation. The nefarious vapours
of his distorted, out-of-joint universe bring a great measure of entropy
to this opus.

Le Diktat is the only duo involved in this three party collaboration. Le
Diktat brings the rhythm to the table. Break-core loops, drum n’bass
rhythm patterns, trip-hop, electro and rock elements coupled with
scratches create the most unexpected stylistic fusions, even on the most
haunting instrumental tracks of this album. The result is a surprising
collision between acoustic purity and punishing industrial beats, but a
remarkably daring demonstration.

Jembes, flutes, scratches, harp, piano, samples; intense episodes or
long, meditative soundscapes; sometimes quiet, sometimes heavy with
saturation, this work of contrasts displays a thousand faces, takes a
thousand forms which will not fail attract any and all who would take a
musical journey in unchartered territories. The soundtrack to the End

and legends of the Industrial music scene, both active since the late
70s! Boyd Rice is well-known for his project NON and for his

who utilises metal percussion and electronics to create mystical

BRIGHTER DEATH NOW: NECROSE EVANGELICUM, 2CD

Recorded during 1995 – that most creative of years for Brighter Death
Now, which also produced the much harsher album Innerwar, as well as the
final part of the epic “Great Death” trilogy – Necrose Evangelicum was
immediately received as a new milestone in the genre of
“sacred-death-industrial.” In fact, the album had the most favorable
reception of any BDN record, and has generally been considered the most
easily accessible of BDN’s work.

This groundbreaking album is nothing short of a sacred death-machine
that relentlessly works itself into the mind with a most obtrusive, and
almost dangerous, insistence. This review from 1996 says it all:

“This is music created from a place beyond all imaginable Hells... a
place that exists only deep within the macabre mind of its creator,
Roger Karmanik. A CD of such impenetrable darkness, as if the entire
world had collapsed into itself! Where the inspiration has been drawn
from for these recordings can only be speculated, but suffice it to say,
it's not a place one would like to spend eternity! Tormented voices
announce the birth of some unspeakable horror, while heavily metallic,
grinding electronics shudder like the last gasps of a dying machine.
Together, they form a vision so bleak and ghastly it purges both the
mind and soul of everything but the most impure of thoughts. Leave all
notions of decency at the entranceway, for they are not wanted nor
needed here. Only in the final title track, featuring the despondent
orchestrations of Mortiis, will you find solace, but even that is a
harbour deemed unsafe.”

And yet, as a Brighter Death Now record, we still insist that it is
“easy listening”…

In order to once more make this groundbreaking album available, we have
gone back and digitally restored, remastered and remixed the tracks to
give them the facelift they so richly deserve. This new edition of
Necrose Evangelicum is presented in a beautiful foilprinted digipak
together with a “live” CD recorded during the same era. Actually the
“live” CD is the recording of a rehearsal for a concert in Vaasa,
Finland, which ended up never taking place! The permission of the
organizers ran out, and the evening came to an end, before BDN had an
opportunity to take the stage.

of Prey. A characteristic trance-gong-drone-music in the release "Die
Mechanik, Die!" has been saturated with electronic sounds. Such HATI
will suprise many of you! More than 45 minutes long album perfectly
recorded during the performance in "the Mechanik" club in Gdansk. This
time HATI famous for its acoustic sounds - made propably the darkest CD
in its discography, the CD enriched with dark ambient tones. Tarry and
heavy backgrounds perfectly harmonized with trance and mechanical
instrumental variations of musicians move the imagination and bring
nearer the world of the dying mechanics.

MERZBOW: ANICCA, CD

The first track on Merzbow's latest opus was recorded at Tin Pan Alley
studios, London, on 20th April 2008 - the day after his momentous
performance at ULU. Akita created an astounding and very unique
20-minute track, playing freestyle drums over his trademark noise. The
final 2 tracks were created at Munemi House in Tokyo. Another fine
example of why Merzbow is the undisputed King of Japanese Noise! 58
minutes in total.

Whatever You could call NEKYIA music, there are always elements that
move past used musical patterns. "Alchemalady" is an album founded upon
a strong and solid rhythm, whose walls are build by uncommon arrangement
rich in various sounds. And the binder is an alchemical concept, merge
together element with element, track with track, sound with sound.

"Alchemalady" is a 60 minute long, dynamic album, full of rhythm, female
and strong male vocals, whispers and singings. 14 compositions combining
electronic elements with varied percussion and strong industrial hits.

Unconventional released album made of 130mm x 180mm cardboard. Three
sepearete cards with from brown cardboard with golden prints. All cards
have holes and all is combined with a small rope. The CD is attached on

NORDVARGR: PYRRHULA, CD

Partly based on an old Swedish folktale, Pyrrhula ("doomlord") is a
pitch black journey into utter darkness. This is a tale of foreboding
doom... a portent of dark times to come... a blight on the face of this
earth. These eight Black Ambient / Doom / Droneworks were brought forth
from the abyss of Villa Bohult exclusively for Cold Spring and contain
the malevolent vocals of Lord Nordvargr himself!. "Beware the small
creatures of light, they only bring misery and death upon the
enlightened ones. For they will paint their breast with blood and reap
your unborn angels."

PARANOIA INDUCTA: PIA FRAUS, CD

"Pia Fraus” is second part of the Lux Mundi trilogy. This trilogy is a
tribute to all those who died, were killed, deceived, humiliated and
oppressed by chatolic church. It's a tribute to all those victims who
instead of love and hope were given torment and death.

More than 50 minutes long album, on whitch the creator of Paranoia
Inducta, Anthony A. Destroyer once again invited eLL from Sui Genesis
Umbra nad Robert Marciniak from Rukkanor. Second act in red symbolises
the cardinal color. And as the first album that was violet, symbolising
the bishop and rachbishop state, the "Pia Fraus" is dedicated to all
victims of cardinals. Dark ambient album with specific atmosphere of
death and industrial sounds, choirs, songs and voices. The style from
"Gloria Laus" was kepted.

The cd is unusualy released - red coverwith 12-page booklet filled with
graphics marching every track. The booklet is inside specially designed
cross-shaped envelope and sealed. In front of the cover we find sign
along the red seal. All together is wrapped in a foil and hand-made
marked with serial number in limited edition of 444 pieces.
