artists.
These range from Dielectric veterans like Sote (sonic death monkies),
Carson Day, Gerritt and Chris Palmatier to exciting new talent like Arastoo

"Cleave: Nine Great Openings" is the first new CD release by h3o since
'hljodmynd' released in 2000 on Die Stadt (though the material on this
was already recorded in 1995). Cleave is a 62 minutes piece which slowly
changes, with a very wide sound, low, and very resonant. It's *almost*
ambient or 'meditative music' with very special atmosphere, and a few

music and extensive sound design of the movie, melded and mutated to

and dreams become nightmares. Originally conceived as a two month music and
sound design project, it quickly evolved into a three year journey into
madness,
as Zoetrope the movie became a complex exercise in pure cinema and sound.

The black and white film, was inspired by Franz Kafka's story "In The Penal
Colony" and is a haunting examination of a man imprisoned in the inner
depths
of his own mind, only to discover the truth about himself and the world of
oppression which has driven him to this inescapable fate. The film was
directed by Charlie Deaux and produced by Mellissa Berry for MGP INC.

A glimpse into the world of Zoetrope can be gained by viewing the video
trailer included on the CD which is playable on both PC and MAC formats.

Eternels" ("Eternal Doubts"), which was inspired by and Edward Sheriff
Curtis'
exhibition. Here the classical Swiss pianist transcribed the emotions the
exhibit inspired in him, transporting their sad resonance into the
modern world,
and in turn creating a somber yet melodic reflection of humanity: how
mankind
treats its planet and its fellow man. Stark in it's structure yet warm in
