dark majesty that forcefully propels the message of inevitability: The
colorful illusion people spend most of their lives in is fragile as a

DERNIERE VOLONTE: OBÉIR ET MOURIR, 2CD

Reissue of the mythical double tape-boxset released by LA NOUVELLE
ALLIANCE/FRANCE in 1998 in a limited and numbered edition of 120 copies
(L.N.A. 01). Only 90 were finally edited that time. All original
material was entirely remastered and seven unreleased tracks from the
same recording sessions were added for a tolal length of about 140
mns/28 tracks. Unlike to the recent releases of this French one-man
project "Obéir et Mourir" includes neither any singing nor
pop-influences. The sound here is a great blending of dark ambient
soundscapes, militaristic percussion samples and tape-voices taken from
World War II’ documentaries. Powerful anthems march in front of melodic
tracks and oppressive atmospheres reflecting perfectly the climate of
the 30’s and of the 40’s made of fury, pain and tears…" "Obéir et
mourir" is nothing but an audio and visual illustration of these dark
days...

The two CDs come in cardboard cover with a 14 postcard-set, housed in a
deluxe dark green boxset with embossed front-picture and bronze

The new Desiderii Marginis album ’Strife’ is, as the name implies, a
sort of reflection over the rather pityful human desire to engage in all
kinds of conflict. Everywhere and always.
There is admittedly a healthy aspect of conflict or competition – the
clash of ideas, ideologies, opinions and the like. But often strife
takes the form of mere pointless destruction for no purpose. That
particular lack of meaning is what this album is all about. ’War is a
continuation of politics’ von Clausewitz wrote in the 1830’s. But if
there’s no political visions to realize, no higher goal to pursue, no
new beginning, no rebirth, then what? Guns go silent only to discover
that nothing has really been accomplished. Old structures of injustice
remain, recent conflicts are added to old ones. Does this sound
depressing? I think it is.

The music on this album is not intended to sound like the blazing guns
of a world at war. It is what it is simply because these kind of
thoughts went through my head as the music was made. I have had no
ambition to address any particular issue, I’m definitely not trying to
promote, or badmouth, any political or ideological points of view.
Politics are firmly rooted in the present. Strife itself is eternal. The
music is, as always, a strictly personal way to deal with and express
the ever present madness of man.

The artist, Goh Lee Kwang, who comes from Malaysia has already produced
six albums and several tracks for compilations. 'Internal Pleasures'

For the last few years, the enthusiasts have been enjoying the
evolutionary sound creations of Cordell Klier (Monstrare) and James
Keeler (Wilt). The first, very often, in his solo adventures, works in a
register which one could hail as "dark glitch", or a close encounter of
the third kind between modern technology and the abyssm as the second
builds us somber sonic monoliths, raw blocks of black bruitist matter
and dark lo-fi atmospherics...
It was no doubt that the collision, or fusion, between these two
aeshetics tinged with psychotropism was going to give way to a genuine
journey, a unique and peculiar epic, in the image of the respective
projects of the two creators. The is a natural fit between these
projects as both focus on dark mathematical projections. In this
monumental production, Monstrare feeds us with new-school sonorities as
Wilt opts for old-school sounds, as it goes without saying that one used
the source sound material of the other to crystallize his own visions,
and vice versa. Side by side, the intemporal, uncompromising and often
arrhythmic sonic fluids secreted here sometimes have a textured
minimalistic feel, sometimes reflect a will of nuanced saturation...
Here one will easily recognize the traditional ambient and subtle black
noise WILT feel, just pushed to the utmost level, with MONSTRARE doing
the dark-clicked drone he is renowned for, but in an especially demented
way.

Alternately, the listener finds himself wandering through the uneven
meanders of subterranean cathedrals and flying over futurist cities
radiant with an aura of strangely coloured neons. But there are thousand
and one other possible interpretations. Organic yet bleak, the music
presented here symbolizes the passing of life into subharmonic
spirituality. Now is your turn to make yourself your own interior movie

aiming at reissuing sold-out tapes, CD-R or vinyls previously released
on limited editions. Objekt/Urian is a german duo working with selfmade
instruments and old electronics. Their music is a great mixture of dark
atmospheric soundscapes and power-electronics with a strong old-school
industrial touch at one and the same time original, melodic and powerful
... Tonfragmente II includes selected sound fragments from their
self-released debut tape and debut CD-R plus some bonus material. Their
universe is cold, but never a depressing one and handled themes such as
control and manipulation, information treatment, or some reflections on
history -and even on own country history- have the ability to let
feelings and thoughts arouse and to get matters reconsidered... The
reputation of their live performances -combining music, theatrical
elements and installations- went over the frontiers and the band was
programmed at the fifth Deadly Actions festival in november 2002.

After 8 years of absence, Sanctum will finally feed all you hungry
masses with new material. The impatiently awaited new album "Let's eat"

Sanctums previous work it's still about contrasts, but with stripped

Sanctum is a band from the Cold Meat Industry label, that with their
first album "Lupus in fabula" opened up a new dimension in Nordic
industrial music. Founded by Jan Carleklev and Håkan Paulsson in 1994,
the band has since been joined by different musicians. For "Let's eat",
Sanctum invited a new singer, Sara-Lo av Ekstam.

The groups approach has always been not to follow any specific genre,
but to experiment and to enjoy their music in full. A fact that can not
only have been heard in their music, but also seen during their shows
when the third permanent member of Sanctum, Ulrika Carlsson, takes care
of the video performances. Their reputation has provided them with
