Scorched industrial dirge from members of subterranean black metal
troupe Black Funeral, sounding to our ears like some debauched mutation
of GODFLESH's Streetcleaner gone ambient funeral doom cabaret, like the
score for some hellish, buried black mass happening in the dampest
corners of your basement at 2am, or themes for a plague-infested
carnival. Either way, this is some sinister shit. Spartan, dubbed out
drums linger somewhere back in the shadows while the vocalist invokes
negative energy over a framework of carnivalesque, martial
post-punk/avant-industrial played by bone machines. Listening to this is
like staring into a vast black maw of total dankness. Not really
"heavy", but definitely evil, unsettling stuff, and summons similiar
vibes as the recent batch of outsider-black metal weirdness we've landed
from Supernal...fans of Benighted Leams, Emit, Esoteric, and similiar
pitch-black clang and demonic atmosphere would do well to check this

Paul Chain- Park of Reason CD (Beyond Prod.)- Italian import. Italian
multi-instrumentalist Paul Chain is a cult figure in the doom metal
underground, and this CD shows why. 12 songs of melodic and powerful
traditional doom metal, with Paul playing guitar and often all
instruments. He actually sings real words on a few songs too (Paul
usually sings a made-up phonetical language)! Did I mention this CD is
90 minutes long??? That's right, the last track actually contains two
different mono songs, one in the left channel and one in the right. If
you're new to the wonderful world of Paul Chain, this isn't a bad place

Harmonic, but with a certain raw directness & concreteness that creates

"WÄLDCHENGARTEN is a danish duo from Aarhus that could be best described
as “noise ambient” or “raw / harsh drone” in what they do. After some
already very promising releases (i.e. a CD in the Desolation
House-series of Relapse Recs) this is their very first vinyl. Their
music on #The Leech# is very raw and filled with tiny noisy outbursts,
at the same time ultra-sluggish & powerful. Low whistling feedback &
pure electronic whirl-tones are omnipresent, everything seems to
gradually sink to an alien center of heavy gravity ­ like an organic
entity that is slowly sucking energy while everything around is
pulsating and rumbling in menacing cascades... this is dark, but its a

Industrial with pumping rhythms and distorted sounds. Several releases
exists on CDRs or Tapes, but also a few compilation contributions. With
‘Indre Stilhed’ XOTOX goes other ways and TOSOM is proudly to present
it. On ‘Indre Stilhed’ you don’t hear nothing like rhythmical parts or
distorted sounds, forget what you know or heard about this project.
‘Indre Stilhed’ shows “the silent side of Xotox’. 17 Tracks full of
beautiful calm sounds, sometimes with a little classical touch. “This
album is dedicated to all those who can still feel the silence” and
