What *SIGNED* Artists Reveal About Major Labels!
Note: This notice could not be published on a more
appropriate day than this American Labor Day.

A new Music world is not coming...it is already here!
"Signs of the Times" include, but are not limited to,
the following:
* Major label artists leaving major record labels of their
own accord, thus, ending the long-term slavery
* Major label artists starting their own businesses (labels)
* A significant DE-crease in the amount of major label
employment (artist signings), due to eye-opening
revelations to unsigned/indie artists that they can earn
more money independently (although this has been kept
hush-hush quiet)
* Both major label and unsigned artists learning how
major labels have, historically, over-recouped recoupments
(cheated them out of hard-earned nickels, dimes and
alas! Hard-earned dollar$!)
* The closing of major music retail chain stores, with the
most recent being Tower Records (physical CD sales
continue to decrease as a result of digital downloads)
* Today's ability of artists to connect with and sell directly
to the source (fans) through the Internet, thus, cutting out
the "middleman" (major labels) and the need to wait on
royalties for months, or worse, years

of landing a corporate music deal, after reading the

to find yourself immediately developing tongue cramps
when asked to recite the words, "major," "label," or any
form or combination thereof.
