Hi:

I regret to inform you that, as of this month, and after
much consideration, I have made the decision to cease
publication of all newsletters and discussion lists, which
include the "B# Newsletter," "B# Tunesletter," "B#
RoundTable," "The Shield," and "ShieldTalk."

The decision to do so has been based on a number of
factors, but which is largely due to a time deficit, now
that I am a General Partner and Director of Marketing
for 2 new Houston-based record labels which include,
"MoJamz Records" and "1st Light Records," as well as
extensively committed to several other business ventures.

"MJR" (http://www.mojamzrecords.com) releases its
first artist, "Brizite," in only 3 weeks, and the first artist
for "1LR" (http://web.wt.net/~lavot), which is still under
development, will be released in January, 2002.

Also, I'm not sure how many of you are aware that I am
a Contemporary Jazz/Pop recording artist as well, but
after having primarily focused on and served within the
"business" aspect of the music industry for well over 10
years, I have been yearning of late to return to the
creative aspect of my own career.

As such, my new recording titled, "Love Notes," will be
released in 2002, and I am eagerly and excitedly looking
forward to it. These new commitments have further
dictated that I will no longer serve as an independent
record promoter or press publicist, but will possibly, on
occasion, continue to contribute articles to various sites
such as "Music Dish."

I sincerely appreciate all who have had the faith to
subscribe to either of these newsletters, and especially
appreciate you who have been with me since the first
issue of the "B# Newsletter" back in February, 2000.

Lastly, but not least, I wish to impart a special note of
appreciation and thanks to all the writers who have
contributed to "B#" within the last 1-1/2 years. Without
your highly informative contributions, it goes without
saying that this newsletter would certainly have not
attained the respect that it did. Again, my humble
appreciation.

A few of you will probably get this notice posted on
the "B# Tunesletter" and "The Shield" lists, as there
are subscribers unique to those lists. So, in advance,
please forgive the multiple posts. :-)
