Actually the reason why it is so difficult to license the BBC Sessions is
simple. You would have to get Martyn, Ian , Phil and Adrian to agree to its
release and thats the trouble. Adrian won't , when Adrian agreed in the
past, Phil refused, When Philip in the past agreed, Martyn refused. etc ad
finitum. Bob last has tried , The current Human League management have tried
to bring all parties together and somebody has always said no, despite the
better efforts of those that wish to see its release. Also there are
problems clearing the rights over "You've lost that loving feeling" which
does not belong to the Human league. So the best you could hope for is a
three track CD at some point but that goes back to the problem of getting
all four people on the recording to sign the same consent form at the same
time.
