I just got some more details from Richard about the GHOTF reissue...
Due to problems at the pressing plant, the CD will probably now be out
on the 29th, but the download should be available from the following
vendors:
Napster
Emusic
Musicnet
Od2
Rhapsody
Tunetribe
Indiemobile
Wasabeat
Beatport
Juno Delivered:
Spiralfrog
Itunes
Ami
Gigacrate
Securycast
Inprodicon
Lala
Amazon
Zeroinch
247
Peoplesmusicstore
Thirdeyet
7digital
Necodo
Spank
Now, restrictions on track lengths in certain digital stores (yes,
you, iTunes) mean the version of Last Man On Earth on the download
album will be shorter than the original release, but Richard is trying
to arrange a way for fans to get hold of the full-length version free
via email if they purchase the album. For some reason, the full
version is 'allowed' on the expanded Dance Like A Star EP...?!
Although neither version now has the radio announcement at the end of
the original GHOTF CD - hopefully this will be restored on the free
email deal.
Oh, and the vinyl version of Dance Like A Star will be reissued
(without the bonus tracks added to the digital release) in a limited
edition of just 250 copies! So I recommend tracking that down ASAP if
you're a completist.. . :)
That's all I know at the moment, but I'll let you know if I get any
more info. I'll update the site when I get a chance...
