The Bluegrass Chatterbox New Mexico exists to foster communication about bluegrass, old time and acoustic music between players and listeners primarily in New Mexico.

The calendar will available to list events such as concerts, festivals and jams.

The email list will automatically distribute messages to all the list members (and file them in an archive). While the discussion won't be moderated, off topic messages or flaming is discouraged.

This group is modeled after one started in the Chicago area by Chip Covington, a banjo and bass player and concert promoter (all in his spare time). Thanks to Chip for the idea. It's been alive and well in Illinois for several years, and while things sometimes get bogged down it has generally been a positive resource.

This is a democracy so all ideas to improve the group are welcome!
