The Santa Fe Traditional and Bluegrass Music Festival is in it's
32nd year and this one proves to be the best ever.. Festivities
begin on Friday, August 25th at 6:00pm (gates open at 5:00pm)
featuring performances by Albuquerque's own Sandia Hots, followed
by a new favorite regional Old Time band from Paonia,
Colorado "Sweet Sunny South", the evening ends with Nationally
ranked Old Time Music group Troublesome Creek hailing from
Virginia. .
This year proves to be the best yet with the Association moving the
festival to a new location that will have indoor air conditioned
venues along with outdoor covered and partially enclosed vendor and
concession areas as well as a showcase stage and indoor workshop
areas. This year the festival will be held at the Santa Fe County
Fair grounds. 3229 Rodeo Road which will be easily located by new
and returning festival goers as it is just directly east of the
Santa Fe Rodeo grounds the previous festival location. There will
be free dry camping and plenty of jamming!
