Dear Kenny,
How horrible to see your child suffering. How brave to give him injections yourself.
While claiming healing by faith, it is important to remember the trials we go through make us; stronger, more able to cope and better equipped to help others.

In this time of recuperating and rehabilitating, try to remember that Erik was spared from death, is already on his way to recovery and working a bit.
"HE who begins a good work in me will be faithful to complete it."
Patience is a fruit of the spirit. Despair is of the enemy.
Stay strong for Erik, as you have been.
What a glorious opportunity you have been given to minister to him, body and spirit.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise HIM all creatures here below.
Praise HIM above, Ye Heavenly Hosts.
Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost.
Amen!

Kenny
Thanks for the update. My family is praying for Erik. 3 of my sons are avid cyclists.
My oldest son, Kris, use to work at the Bike 'N Hike store in Corvallis. I think there is one also in Portland.

Hello Everyone,
Greetings once again from Portland, Oregon...
Hopefully this is the last update I'll be passing along concerning my son
Erik, who as you may recall was in the Legacy Emmanuel Trauma Clinic in
Portland OR for three weeks after a cycling accident. I know that you are
overburdened in your e-mail boxes daily with this or that, and I
appreciate the prayers and responses that we have received. They have
been truly appreciated, more than you'll ever know.
Erik was released this past week, after it was accessed that a developed
blood clot in his lung was maneageable with blood thinners. I had to
actually give injections to him at his home for a couple of days. If you
knew how terrified the both of us are of needles, then you'd appreciate
the dark comedy, as it were, of one terrified guy shooting another with a
needle and syringe. LOL...
Things are looking much better at this point, and Erik has even been able
to return to his work on a limited basis. There is one more item I would
desire your prayers about, though:
Erik's doctor has given him a 50/50 chance of regaining sensation in his
face, which depressed Erik greatly to hear. He has described his face as
"feeling like a mask." I'm praying that the Great Physician is giving him
a 100% chance of total recovery, and I would like for you to just take a
moment to do the same. This is very important, please...
Thank you again for all of your prayers and encouraging remarks.
God bless you all.
