Hey everyone;

 

Just a quick note, as it's been a long day... the response was very positive about my questions concerning bringing Manimou Camara to Boise to teach! I will contact him and tell him it's a go. Please reserve the dates 17-19 weekend and spread the word. The classes will most like not run longer than 1.5 hrs each, that is about the normal time for drum and/or dance classes and he would like to do at least two each. The dates and times are not yet decided and i will find out about class length when i speak with him next. He said he also likes to have a gathering to share food and a video of Africa when folks are open to it.

 

So, stay tuned for further details - and thank you for the great responses... I will answer indiviual emails with specific questions first chance i get tomorrow and post updates when needed.

 

 I think you will thouroughly enjoy Manimou's energy and Boise will benefit greatly by supporting and studying with this artist. Thanks again! (i dumanye kosobe!)
