some pretty good stuff methinks
Faust so far krautrock weirdness but still pretty understandable.
rubberband basslines and squiggly tunes crop up occasionally though
for the main part the story is almost binary. every instrument in
repetitive patterns plus one instrument giving a lot of colour.
listen and go wow.
psychedelic jazz as the title suggests this has heavy lysergic
influence. couldn't find Coltrane cos i just done moved. but this was
at hand.
Lee Perry psychedelic dub reggae stuff.
Fred Neil baritone folk singer. this is a 2fer of his first 2 lps. I
Rarely listen to the first one but I'd give it an ear since you have
the chance. Tim Buckley borrowed heavily from his style. Jefferson
Airplane, loving spoonful, Tim Buckley etc etc covered his songs
Karate Finnish psych jazz weirdnmess. The instruments the horn
Player plays seem to be largely homemade from found objects. Raoul
Bjourkenheim rocks the guitar.
Rowland s Howard first actual solo LP by ex birthday party/these
Immortal Souls/c&crs guy. recasts white wedding by Billy idol (which
Was actually based on a gun club tune anyway) nice and dark, his
Chauffeur used tom work in the kitchens here
Action mod blue eyed soul. Great rhythm section
Debris Oklahoma avant garage from the mid 70s. Acid tripping born
agains read the sleevenotes.
