Hi Yousef

Nice to hear from you, I am fine.
Not seen The Fall since the Middleton Civic gig. The band has since been
sacked and reformed several times.

I'm not sure why the strangeways gig is not on The Fall website. It is
listed on the Warehouse Project web site and I was also able to buy
tickets on line. Hope it goes ahead now.

Its nice to see that long time Fall support band Gabrielles Wish have
reformed with a new album.
http://www.gabrielleswish.com/

There are mp3's from the new CD to download and a decent free live track
from a Manchester Bierkeller gig in 2005.

Hope to see some of you guys @ Manchester.

Ditto.

The gig's "unconfirmed" status bugs me a bit though...

So how's Graydon keeping? Not heard from you for ages.

Hi Paul, I would suggest starting with the recent career-spanning best
of compilation "50,000 Fall Fans Can't Be Wrong". And also trying the
website forum rather than this fairly quiet email list...

Just saying hello. I've just started listening to the
Fall. Starting with tracks on the tribute to the Monks
album which comes out next week. I got an advance copy
because I'm organising for the Monks to play here in
London (the Fall covered a couple of their songs years
ago - I think they were "Shut Up" and "I Hate You"?).
So now I'm into finding out more. Wondering where to
start! Cheers. Paul

Well, I really like Fall Bog Roll and Shite Heads Roll for their dynamic
possibilities.
Fall SHite Heads is not without merit, however, there is something culinary
about the first two,no? Therefore, I propose Fall Shite Bisquit Roll.

Actually The Fall is shite. No music fan in their right mind would
like this shite. As one fan said to me once (I think it was the

Hello everybody,

As a new member, the moderator has asked me to introduce myself. Here
goes. Sorry if it sends you to sleep.

I've been a Fall fan since 1978, after hearing Totale's Turns on John
Peel. With my mono cassette player swinging by my side, I remember
walking along a summer road absorbed in Muzorewa's Daughter,
convinced that if your ordinary pop fan would only listen to this
magic, they too would fall in love with it. Never really happened,
did it.

So here I am in 2006, once again certain of something: that The Fall
have been the best band of the past quarter of a century.

Blindness?

Sort of.

I have in my possession 100 (one hundred copies) of Dr. Buck's
Letters, aka An Unauthorized Extrapolation of the Fall by FallNet.

(Make that 99 copies: One copy is in a book shelf, shoehorned between
James Ellroy's *Destination Morgue* and John Fante's *Ask the Dust*...)

Anyway: I am organizing a PayPal page for credit card orders... the
sticker price is $10.95 (US)... plus $1.59 for media mail...

And soon 5 cent coins will join that list. It used to be two 2 cent
