It all started 15 years ago with WilSpace doing a Dead Night at Local's on Wednesday. Later stints were at Fitz, LCC, Dan Electro's & Walter's. For the last year it has been Wednesday evening at Mojo Risin' coffee shop in the Heights.

Basically we meet to trade and burn CD's and DVD's, so bring plenty of blanks. While the Grateful Dead serve as our touchstone, almost all genres are fair game. What we don't do is accept money for CD's or deal in commercial releases.

We have a regular get together on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7-10 at Mojo Risin' 1600 Shepherd. They serve coffee and sandwiches.

Often BOTLD will be held in conjunction with a Texas House Concert (THC) at Wil & PJ's home in the Heights. We encourage donations for the band, which are accepted at the door and 100% of that goes to the band. We've had everything from local to regional and even national acts. We meet about once a month on a Sunday from 3-8. No pets please, but kids are welcome with adult supervision. This means you should show a little (but not too much) discretion. You should bring your own food and drink. Wil has a monster bbq pit that is fired up and ready to go.
