The responses to this, both on the listserv and privately, have not
been in agreement with one another. A couple of folks are convinced
that it's JC, while others (including Mark Skobac, whom I generally
trust) insist that it's Duncan and Dino trading leads.
The part that really has me scratching my head is at about 3:23 in the
first track. One solo (Duncan's?) ends, and another picks up
immediately, and that's the one that really sounds like Cipollina to
me. The same thing happens about a minute later. What do you think? Is
that the way Dino played, or is he trying to imitate JC? Or could
Cipollina be sitting in on that song?

With all due respect to Marc who I have "known" forever it seems and who knows his stuff, Dino couldn't play well enough to be mistaken for John EVER. That...
Agreed but it would never be mistaken for John. Dino should have been so lucky. ... From: CIPOLLINA@yahoogroups.com [mailto:CIPOLLINA@yahoogroups.com] On...
Why don't we ask the guru of all things Cipollina ask Mike Somavilla (Fan Man). He would know. And i still don't think it's Dino. No offense, but he was not a...
Bob Flurrie was in QMS between 1973 and 1974, I think he was the second guitar player. He's been in Barry Melton's band for years. Full band would have been:...
How much did he tour with them? I saw them every time they came to the east coast during that period and don't recall him. Of course, it has been a while and...
