Hello. Well, thee juices are flowing like they haven't in months. I
think its due to getting broadband and downloading fresh new cutting
edge stuff via netlabels. Can't afford to buy records these days. So
we get inspiration where we can. Its actually quite amazing what you
can do with a piece of freeware like the fruity loops demo. I think
alot of these 'electronic' musician out there miss the point and think
plentiful gear and thousands of intricate plugins = excellence. I
think simplicity is the key. Simple gear and recording equipment is
enough to get a sound
as 'intelligent' as any IDM practitioner.
So i've been laying down new 'techno' stuff from computer to a shitty
tape deck and it sounds fine. Chuck the contents of the tape onto
something like 'audacity' and add to it, maybe take this hiss off. As
good as anything. In fact, I'm confident enought to say I'm getting
pretty fuggin good at it.

ah, so, yeah, all that material is going onto the 'DOPAMINE 20' work,
which won't all be electronic. and no, its not 20 albums any more,
that was a rediculous goal. So, maybe, it'll be more like a dowubl
double album or something - released at the end of the year - the next
and latest CRUDE title.
what else.. ...Jason Barrett and I are coming up with new Aesthetics
material..he's joined my free-jazz out-fit 'The Anomie Ensemble' on
Synth alongside Duane Zarakov on drums - that bands playing some party
this weekend. My sax and clarinet need bits so I'm playing a home-made
Shawm type instrument to dramatic ancient effect. Its single reeded -
so its not a real Shawm, more like a Chameleau I guess, it has a sound
with a cross between a Tibetan trumpet and a soprano saxophone. Some
wild shit can be done with it - a true secret weapon. Must record it.
But yeah - I'm accepting donations so as to fix the Sax. Hee hee. No
really. any help is appreciated. I mean, I'm doing what I can on this
'benefit'. So I should get a job but man, I gots the depression and
man, my Cv is pretty..spartan. Isn't CRUDE a worthy career? You guys
