Hello all. I'm pleased to announce the release of 2 new CRUDE titles.
As mentioned in a previous post, the 'Wretched Five' series is a
purely experimental outing with releases staggered over 2006. Don't
expect virtuosity or 'great production' with these works, they're
really abstract and stripped down. Volume One and Volume Two have just
been released and they're very murky, very remote works only just
hanging onto the tape. Vol 1 is one elongated piece, 70 mins in all
featuring this 'ghostly pulse'that really creeps in after a while.
Nice sparse stuff for minimalist cinema, perhaps. Vol 2 features 6
tracks, all gloriously thrown together with one finger really - like
most of my activity these days. Theres a beautiful remix of the
clarinet hellfire track 'machette' in which it has been slowed right
down and pitch shifted. A gargantuan spooky effect is acheived. Other
tracks follow the slowed/detuned method. A very bleak outing. Grey
skies over High Street bleak. Arc cafe with 50 cents kinda bleak.
Being asked to play chess by a hippy bleak.
Pricing : same as all the others :
