A group of students, alumni and faculty of California State University, Los Angeles who are interested in the work of recent and living composers. The group consists of BOTH composers and performers and is meant to promote discussion and free exchange of ideas between these two groups. Campus organizations such as the Pacific Contemporary Music Center, the New Music Ensemble and the Student Composer Forum will also use the group to promote activities and to encourage student involvement with these organizations. Regular informal listening sessions will also be scheduled to inform members of composers and performers who are active today and who will impact the world of music in the future. All information and topics relating to composers, performers of new music and the teaching of music are appropriate for posting.
